I have a Technics SL B5 automatic record changer. It holds up to six albums. Also have a Pioneer turntable with automatic side sensor on it. If you put a 12 inch record on it the tonearm automatically goes to 12in. position. Same for the 7inch, if you put a 7 inch record on it it goes into 7 inch position

Hey, which speakers would you recommend? Do you need 1 wall outlet for 1 speaker set? I'd prefer speakers that i can still plug into this turntable, but also can do it unplugged. (because of the potential sound difference)

So you only need extra speakers or an amplifier too?

If the speakers are Active Speakers, you can plug and play cause they have amplification built-in. If the speakers are Passive Speakers, you'll need an amplifier.

Yes cats have a way of distracting us from everything so the automatic features of this TT are great to have. Nice vid I just picked up a red one of these and your vid was great help setting it up. Until i get some powered bookshelf speakers I've connected it to my Vizio soundbar via a male to male 3.5mm audio cable. I'm surprised how good even this setup sounds. One question about the tracking force, if your scale messured it as higher than 3.5g is there anyway to adjust it on this TT? Thanks for cool vid.

This is awesome because Inuyasha and 3 by 3 eyes was two of my favorite animes besides Hellsing but the rest of those mangas that was named out I never even heard I want to try to watch them all if there's anything like Inuyasha or 3 x 3 eyes I guarantee they kick ass

Happy to have introduced you to more series Kaoru Wada composed music for! However, they are very different from both Inuyasha & 3x3 Eyes. One that I would recommend checking out, though, is D.Gray Man if you've never seen that one. Also, Hellsing has an awesome soundtrack!

Yeah, it's definitely taken some time for them to pick back up. Interesting announcements so far for this year, tho. I'm hoping I can see Queen Bee's concert & Babybeards' amongst other things. I know you said you're joking, and I'm sure this goes without saying, but only add to your collection what you truly feel You want and lines with your musical tastes. I'm certain everything i mention is available to listen to online, so even if you're just adding an album to your digital library to listen to and you enjoy it, that alone is incredible and it doesn't need to go beyond that. I am also 1000% open to making other stuff (and I am working on other stuff), so what else would you like to see from me? (:

I’m just a big Cowboy Bebop fan so when I see a new release I tend to jump on it pretty quickly haha (that box set looks amazing). And honestly, through out your videos, it definitely seems like you have a really diverse music taste. Nice! I actually haven't seen any of the Monogatari series. Idk if there's an order to them, but I was gonna start with Bakemonogatari. I know ClariS does some of the openings for one of them, too, and they're in that box set! (: And whoever did the mix on that csm chuu tayousei record did amazing work. That is a great sounding record 👌🏼

One of my few complaints about the alternate universe Pokemon movies (I Choose You, The Power of Us, Secrets of the Jungle) is that the (Japanese) scores generally lack any sort of an identity. It’s particularly an issue in The Power of Us and Secrets of the Jungle since they primarily take place in a single area. Concierge does a much better job.

I haven't seen any of those movies just yet. And I have "I Choose You" on Blu-ray too lol just haven't gotten around to it. That one or SotJ. Power of US is just a redone 1st movie, right? I didn't feel the need to watch it because of that. I can't speak to any of those lol I will say, it's not alt-universe, but one of my favorite Pokemon movie soundtracks is Darkrai's 👌🏼

"The Power of Us" is an original movie (despite the title being similar to the second movie's) released in the alternate timeline. I'll agree that the Darkrai movie does have a pretty good score with several memorable cues. My basic opinion is that after that movie things get less and less memorable for the most part.

I knew as soon as tigerlabs dropped the 🍎 that we’d get more Ab lol. Hopefully you receive one. I was expecting $200 at the most but that was mostly me thinking that was unlikely and just me shooting far in hopes I can manifest it to be no more than $100-$125 (realistically speaking haha). I’m curious if everyone at TLV are doing well. I can’t help but think there’s probably been some issues going on considering they had that big year of records seemingly being released left and right and talks about releasing stuff like Initial D. The silence from them felt deafening to me to say the least. Hoping the high price isn’t a sign of them hiking up the planned release of the 🍎 to be $250 or even more and that TLV continues to provide great material for years to come

Yeah, they definitely broke through the ceiling on this one. Would have never guessed it would be over $150. If this was because of the misprint issues and stuff, I'd rather they have been straightforward about it. But also, why make the consumer pay for the manufacturer's screw up? It's definitely concerning. I emailed them and am waiting on a reply. Hopefully, we get some answers. Death Parade is reasonably priced like their other releases, so I don't think they'll be hiking up prices on future release like that (hopefully). So, at least there's that. It's just unfortunate that this is how their first Box Set release is turning out. Especially since we've been waiting so long.

It’s not anime music related but it’s adjacent nonetheless but I’d be interested to watch any videos regarding your thoughts on the Funimation stuff and any other outside the scope stuff. The price is very steep. I emailed them about it and am hoping they get back to me. I've also been waiting a very long time for it, so it's easier to be excited about this despite the dollar amount, but some good points about it have been made and I don't think they should be ignored. I'm looking at the "Little Witch Academia" Box Set that's also 6 discs and wondering why the $100 difference. Inflation & Licensing costs is one thing, but that's a pretty big jump. Otherwise, yeah, I'm glad it's actually a thing now.

@MusicInAnime I'd be interested in hearing what their response to the price is. I went to compare prices, and it was $150 to get vol 2 and 3 w/ shipping thru microid. I'm seeing vol 1 for around $80 resale. So when you look at it that way, it's really only $20 more. (But this is probably just me trying to rationalize the price😅)

the death note boxset has a price that is way too steep for me. like somebody else said it looks like they're making us pay for the production issues and such. not cool :( the death parade vinyl looks pretty though

Oh. That's a great point, actually. I was thinking small company, on top of everything having gotten more expensive and also looking at how much the three separate volumes cost altogether. The numbers looked closer in that aspect. I'm gonna reach out to them for comment. They don't seem like the kind of folks to give a 'corporate' response, and I know they make stuff that they're fans of as well. Based on how well they've treated consumers in the past, I can't imagine they're trying to take advantage of folks. Maybe that's me being naive, tho. Again, I'll reach out and share what they tell me. Regardless, there's no denying that price is insane.

@@MusicInAnime yeah cause i mean i get that you're getting a boxset with a cute packaging and colors and such, but i don't really think it's justified since from microids you can have it for around 70 bucks less. and that's basically the equivalent of two standard 2lp boxsets at the moment. which is insane if you think about it. thanks for putting yourself on the spot for people, but really i thought it was going to be around 120-150 max, 250 is waaaay too much even for an ndipendent label imho. and you also have to think about shipping prices, which maybe for US people are less steep, but for people like me that live in the EU... they skyrocket x.x

I bought a Death Note vinyl from Tiger Lab a couple years ago (the one that looks like a death note). It was bent (probably damaged by UPS), but they sent me a replacement fortunately. Seems like a cool company though, I’d definitely buy from them again.

Their Death Note Apple Edition went up. It's $250 (Holy Shit). Only 50 units are up before it's "initial release" but damn. That's a HEFTY price tag.

No you don't want it 3.4 grams if it's giving you a weight between 3.5g and 2.5g you want it at 3g 0.1 either way could be adjusted if you feel it's giving you a better sound. And another thing you don't check for level using the dust cover you have to use the platter without the mat, and set the arm bias for this type of cartridge about 2 -2.4 grams

From so much of the Pokemon world centered on battles and training the music for concierge really does bring such a lighter lovely mood an i can easily see this being a comfort show for many fans of Pokemon. I absolutely love miniature crafts so just every little thing enchanted me an the music only made it a joyful watch :3 I was drying my tears as well like it was so sweet.
