They are just the original Soundtracks for the series. Thanks for informing me about more tracks that I now want, but won’t find for a reasonable price… jokes aside great vid! In terms of Yasuke, the first thing that comes to mind is “wasted potential”. The true story of yasuke is so incredibly interesting and I feel like a story like that would be much more appreciated and watchable than the…mess that we ended up getting. Who in their right mind would try to drag in magic, monsters, and actual mechs into it?!

Tigerlabs is going to be releasing Redline and Perfect Blue Deluxe Edition very soon so I'd keep my eyes out for those. Idk if you know Elfen Lied? They mentioned they were going to release a Deluxe edition for that one around January but they've also been affected by delays in the industry. But all of those, for sure.

I really liked Yasuke. It’s reminiscent of the action you’d see in typical Adult Swim anime. I do think it gets too much flack and is pretty underrated. Just don’t go in and get disappointed it’s not historically accurate in its adaptation.

Music In Anime ikr?? I saw a lot of criticism, on MAL, Twitter, and KZbin comments for mostly the preference in historical accuracy and less creative liberties and ofc the drama around a “left-wing SJW propaganda” as I saw it put on MAL once 😂. I think if you like Afro Samurai you’ll enjoy Yasuke.

Beautiful video as always! Came as fast as I could when I saw that FLCL record from Vinyl Luxe, gorgeous looking and really nice to know there is this different version. I have the Prog/Alt variant but also would love to get the OST 1 record, looking forward for that! Btw, this Vampire Hunter D vinyl is INSANE, love the movie, can't even imagine having the vinyl xD

Thanks! And that VinylLuxe variant is honestly the dopest one. Since that one is clearly inspired by Red Canti, I'm hoping another distributor gets an exclusive inspired by the regular Blue Canti. That would also be cool. And I haven't seen Vampire Hunter D yet. I almost bought the movie on a number of occasions. I'll actually pick it up one of these days xD

You know I'm curious does anyone here collect old anime vinyl? My collection is small but I'd like to expand it steadily, if I could one day have the Dirty Pair soundtrack and Megazone 23 Parts 1 and 2 on vinyl that would be incredible...great video btw

I've had my eyes on Dirty Pair for a while! That and Bubblegum Crisis. I love that I've got Tekkaman in my collection & I also have The Great Mazinger. One that's probably less know I've got is Windaria. The anime also goes by "Once Upon a Time" in westernized versions of it. But yeah, I'm always looking to add more older anime osts. I've been staring at Casshan and Creamy Mami: Curtain Call. I could go on lol

I have every Studio Ghibli Soundtrack except for 2 (working on getting them all), but my most recent anime vinyl pick up is the Megalo Box soundtrack! Great video, really hyped for the new TigerLab releases, that they’ve announced. I'm looking forward to seeing the artwork for the OnePiece volumes.

I'm betting the two ghibli ones you need are... Porco Rosso & Kaguya 👈🏼 I'm eagerly waiting for TLV to drop their next Subscription! Inuyasha, Death Parade, Pet shop of horrors, One Piece, and that's just what we know so far. That lineup is crazy. And how is Megalo Box? I've seen SE1 and I like the music, but for some reason I always back out on getting the LP.

@@MusicInAnime I have yet to listen to the vinyl but the artwork on the sleeve is amazing. I’m also really anticipating that TigerLab subscription, I wish they’d give us a date already. Out of the Studio Ghibli Soundtracks I’m missing Howl’s Moving Castle (Image Symphonic Suite) and Princess Mononoke (Image Album). How the Studio Ghibli releases work is there’s like 2 or 3 different versions of the vinyl, the different versions being the soundtrack, the image album, and the symphonic suite. I’ve collected every version of every soundtrack except those 2 versions.
