Thanks. But provided one takes all safety precautions and set it up optimally in optimal locations under optimal conditions, WHY cant this be used as a control device? i dont think that most important question is answered here. well not in this vid anyway.

DYI…Crossfire is the best and most effective, nothing else is needed. It’s professional grade but DYI friendly. Apply once, then apply again in 2 weeks to 30 days to get the newly hatched bugs, if needed. Then apply again in 30 days for a total of 3 treatments in 90 days. Search you tube for lots of good info about Crossfire.

Another trick of the trade, don't go bottoms up! Heat rises, therefore as does the steam...early warning for your pesty critters!Makes sense! probably should have thought of that, but..when it's your personal space, one tends to HASTE and, we should know, HASTE = WASTE..😂 how about this, don't forget to remind us common folk, when dealing with an infestation as a pre amble, or what have you..don't freak out!😮😅 anxiety is crazy! From personal experience, this experience, that I'm in now..🤪 All right, IGTG..Guess I just add water and look for a power cord, pretty sure I spent my life up until this moment avoiding that..but , hey! LET'R BUCK, and SWING AWAY, MERRIL..I'm getting chewed up here! 😂🎉

Thank you sir! I've been researching for, idk, must have been an hour at least now, just for some instructions on how to use a steam cleaner for bug situations, or any other actually...an example: How far to hold it from the surface area, (That's where I am at currently in the vid..) I am a green horn, a tenderfoot what have ya, when it comes to these things, but it seems to me to be the end all beat all for pests, that being heat, thermal energy, ya dig? 😅 any ways, that and the towel trick right off the bat was a welcome sight for sore eyes..I didn't mind a couple of the shorts (and a literal info-mercial for the Scunci hand held steamer I just recieved😅) but I have no manual, you see...and, I have common sense, It's just equipment I've never used...it's just a pressure cooker, and your tagging up turf with the pressure release valve..I get it..but, I don't wanna read a litteral manual..haha do I just plug and play this thing, like a mini water heater? That is what it is after-all as well ama right? I havnt even pulled this thing out since I been home...I reckon it's like an iron, havnt used one of those either..but I gather you fill with h2o and plug it in like a newfangled tea kettle, or Ramen pot..haha I'm 35, idk what's going on with my vocabulary right now haha..but anyways thank you!

So I have clothes in garage bags from a storage unit that ‘may’ be contaminated, we aren’t sure. We saw some signs but after hearing they can be dormant for up to a year, I am not bringing the bags inside my home yet. I have a big clear plastic PVC and metal pole greenhouse from Amazon that can withstand up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit that I bought for winter plants I am going to use to make a solar oven. In the full sun, I tested it with sealing it over pavement &/or cardboard, and it got over 120 degrees Fahrenheit inside with a temperature gauge inside within 20 minutes. So I’m gonna put the clothes in sealed black contractor trash bags and leave in the sun for several hours at 120 degrees and then handle with gloves and wash and dry them on high heat/water. There are just too many bags for me to do all at once and I want to minimize risk. Laundry services wouldn’t do it for me, and you really don’t have a lot of options when it is bulky items. Apparently upon my research, there are bed bug ovens with sealable bins and heaters attached available for purchase on Amazon. Even couch sized! They are just pricey. I’m gonna try this since it is just clothes that I am afraid to touch, then dump them in a dryer/washer twice at high temps to be safe! Luckily I never brought any of these items in my home but trying to be cautious! Good luck and Godspeed to those worrying about bed bugs! It’s the MOST stressful thing! 😅

He said, 50 to 60 days if you don't see bugs and have no bites they are probably gone. Also if you set traps at the bed foot and don't see bugs for 50 to 60 days and no bugs they're probably gone. This is not 100%, but in general.

Or take a hot iron for ironing clothes over the surface area of the bed - it may be more time consuming though. Yet use of dry ice is pretty brilliant. Bed bugs are actually drawn to carbon dioxide from the body, - dry ice however is super cold solidified Carbon Dioxide and is likely too cold for them to survive on

I use DE insect and bug killer , dusted base boards heaters took some applied to my floor and swept the floor with it (my house looks like a winter wonderland) I steamed my couches and all the beds and applied DE to those areas . The bed bugs are angry and started to climb the walls and bite us while we are in the kitchen and bathroom . But we are not getting bit in our beds and haven’t seen any in the rooms . DE does work well and also works great with roaches too ! If you’re going to use it put it EVERYWHERE !

Also noting that I vacuum daily ! I’ve been doing this for a few days now . Still some bed bugs but they are trying to get to certain areas that weren’t problem areas to escape the DE so now I have new locations that I need to apply it to , but the DE does work

I'm almost positive that these are lab created, but one thing I can tell you, and please don't be grossed out by this, a lot of them stay in your intestines, my stomach has been bloating, and would I take garlic and other things, they come out, I've read that they are called black pepper mites, you could see them on the tissue when you wipe yourself look very carefully. You will know that you have them when you're behind itches a lot, they are crawling in and out. I think they're specially active at night. They love it when you eat sugar and or white processed food I bought myself something called a dermasuri glove, you have to soak or wet a towel and leave it on you for a while, then take the glove and scrape them off of you, I believe they superglue themselves onto your body. People are believing that they are in your pores but I believe that some of them glue their selves to your body. They will keep their selves on your clothes, I washed my clothes and they don't come off I use a stiff hair brush to brush most of them off. Brush your underwear also. Keep that stiff brush and brush them out of your scalp but let your hair and your head get super wet, again I think these things glue their selves to your scalp. I brush my scalp, and I'm happy to say that they are almost all gone. But one thing remember they're in your car and they drop back onto your head, vacuum your cars keep your dashboards and everything vacuumed, they get your couches they get everywhere. Good luck with all this hopefully you will find other things that shall help you.

Why would bed bugs be uncommon in car? A full scale infestation isnt the concern, it’s leaving a handful of bed bugs alive in a car and reintroducing them into a house. This isn’t hard.

Please Help me, a feel rats or a raccoon got into my house. It did find its way out, but I never found out what it was but it left something inside my house that is biting me and I can’t get rid of them and I can’t see them. I can feel them hitting and jumping on my skin, but I cannot see it like I’m sitting down and they’re just attacking my legs, but I cannot see anything. I’ve used all kinds of spray to try to kill whatever it is nothing is killing them. I also had a pest control person to come in and she also could not see the things, so she didn’t know what to spray for.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: Using a steamer to treat for bed bugs involves targeting seams, edges, folds, and fabric where bed bugs may hide. Bed bugs and their eggs can be killed on contact by steam when temperatures exceed 120 degrees Fahrenheit, typically within a minute. To ensure effectiveness, use a larger steam head to prevent bugs from being pushed away before dying. Attach a towel to the steam head to limit moisture application during steaming, except when penetrating cracks. Maintain a steady speed of about an inch per second while steaming, checking for warmth on the surface afterward. Move the steamer from top to bottom to prevent scattering of bugs, especially in painted areas. Avoid steaming certain surfaces like leather or finishes that could peel or bubble. Start steaming in inconspicuous areas. Focus steaming efforts on areas where bugs are likely to hide, such as seams and crevices. Regularly inspect and steam areas prone to bed bugs, such as couch skirts, to kill bugs and eggs on contact. Made with HARPA AI
