I am going to start my first year in marching band soon. We play at the football games at my school. There is a game very friday (not allways at our school and we only play at home games.

My band camp in early 1980's... it was a few hours from Philadelphia, we stayed in wooden cabins. Every night, a 'band-o' would host a 'stomp out." The cabin would fill up with bunch of us gathering and loudly banging/ marching our feet on the wooden floor in the cabin. Nonsensical fun.

I was a Temple U. majorette in the early 1980's. I loved it, it enhanced my college experience. We performed a halftime show every year at an Eagles Game. The highlight was doing a pre-game at the '83 World Series (Baltimore Orioles won that year).
