Air France, for instance, flies First Class to New York, Washington DC, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco. And yet, none of the three major US airlines have a first class cabin (except maybe AA to and from London) Of course, it's definitely not a first class service you would expect on a domestic flight I hope you will be able to fly First Class on a long-haul flight

In Europe, I flew with Lufthansa, SWISS and British Airways and overally speaking (ground + air), Air France is the best In Asia, even Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines don't offer that high-level ground service in their respective hubs Emirates First Class lounges in DXB are awesome but you are left on our own in the terminals Air France is definitely the best, in our opinion, regarding ground service Thank you for your comment 🙏👍

An Air France La Première agent told me about the hotel rooms at Sheraton, whether you arrive in Paris or just in transit. That's the kind of details that matters and makes me think that Air France was always steps ahead about the ground service. As far as I know, Singapore Airlines is one the few airlines to serve three brands of Champagne in First Class: Krug and Comtes Taittinger. The third one is changed every two or three months. Lufthansa serves white and rosé Champagne and if I'm not mistake, also two or three Champagne on BA First Lufthansa has one of the worst First Class catering, IMHO (except the caviar 😁) Thank you for your comment 🙏👍

Not only this time did they use the other side of the runway (30/12), but also the usual departure runway instead of the arrival one (32/14). I had a brain freeze on this one, it's RW 30 indeed. Of course, I prefer the view and the terrace of SWISS First and when I'm in LP lounge in CDG, time flies so fast

I travelled First Class with Lufthansa, SWISS, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Japan Airlines, British Airways And so far, Air France has the best overall First Class product, ground service and flight. Except BA, the other airlines I flown with also have great service but there are some lacking points I wouldn't say that AF is perfect and they have the highest score for me Thank you for your comment and your support 🤩🤩🙏

It's 800 euros per passenger and limited to 3 hours. I totally concur but I understand why they make the passenger pay. I already used the bedrooms in SWISS First class lounge gates E in Zurich. It's only a bedroom with a comfortable bed and a bathroom They are complimentary You cannot book in advance them and you can stay as long as you want If you arrive at the lounge and it's already occupied, you have to wait in the main room As for Air France, they are so luxurious that any passenger will definitely want to book one of them. It will then be on first come basis. Not first class The day we were travelling, all three of them were booked. That's why, we were invited to visit them before the guests arrive. I know some friends who like the comfort of a wide seat, great legroom, good food and good wines but don't like to be escorted. In my opinion, after Etihad's Residence this shares the second place with Singapore.

It’s also a big step up in price, compared to EK F. So then it is good that it looks a bit overdone. Expectations can be higher.

Si je devais me prononcer sur le produit sans parler du tarif, je dirais qu'Emirates: - offre un confort supérieur en cabine grâce à l'A380 - offre un service de limousine à Dubaï et pas Air France - les cabines de douche sont très appréciées par les passagers. Autrement, Air France La Première présente un bien meilleur produit. Maintenant, en termes de qualité-prix sur le seul segment Paris-Dubaï, pour 200 € plus cher, je choisis Air France La Première Bien sûr, tous les passagers La Première Air France ne débutent pas leur vol à Paris tout comme les Emirates First s'arrêtent à Dubaï Il fut un temps vers 2015 où, pour se faire une niche dans l'industrie, Emirates pratiquait des tarifs agressifs en Business et en First. Je me rappelle avoir vu des tarifs à moins de 5.000 € en First. D'ailleurs, c'est à cause de cette agressivité que toutes les compagnies qui desservaient l'Asie et l'Océanie étaient obligées de s'aligner. Aujourd'hui, il est rare de trouver des tarifs à moins de 8.000 € chez les Gulf Sisters (Emirates, Etihad, Qatar, ...) Et honnêtement, à ce tarif, je préfère des vols directs. J'avais une fois pris un vol de DXB à 4 heures du matin. Et bien, plus jamais
