Saudia still have a way to go to compete with emirates and other GCC carriers. Just did the Mauritius to Jeddah, Jeddah to Amsterdam leg. The food was great and seat very comfortable, however the service still not as polished as their GCC counterparts. The lounge at Jeddah is tiny, compared to Emirates, Etihad, Qatar and Oman Air. There was only 1 working shower and small queues to use the toilets, food options weren't very big either. Expected a lot more considering this is Jeddah's new airport, hopefully they will improve this someday. Still a great airline and beats most western carrier business classes!

No no way can't compare at all ...why due that ok Saudi has good food or nice Juices etc but if I fly long haul innC Cl I do enjoy my wine or Champange .Y I should pay a high fare if all that I don't get.I do enjoy EK bar on the 380.And flying to Aussi land 14to 18 hr or so ....only on juice or soda ...sorry I never do that I make a big circle around that and prepare take EK or QR or GF ,EY etc ..sorry my choice...A hr or 2 is OK on Saudi to me

No way to compare Saudia with Emirates. Saudia has a way cheaper business price. I will gladly fly with them for the price alone and better service. I just booked a one way MNL to IAD for only 2K one way in Business.

There're small points in on board product and inside 787 Saudia better than Emirates ex: 1-2-1 in J class inside b787 vs 2-3-2 Inside b777
