You could very well be right. At least you could play Bast with him and have the potential of drawing several cards in a game. I get the Cerebro 5 connection, but I have a hard time believing Second Dinner thought that alone would make Adam Warlock playable.

@@TrulyTonyStank And even when everything goes right, you lose 4 power compared to vanilla statline to draw 1 card? (there is no way you can play him in a ramp deck and the only way do discount a 5-cost is via Sera, who is a 5-cost herself) Second Dinner is being way too careful with him, I would at least make him a 4-drop (4/4? 4/3?), so you could get some reasonable value out of him with Zabu. It would still be very easily counterable by the opponent (besides maybe some lockdown stuff, but those card have subpar statlines themselves, so I doubt that would be broken either).

@@Bloody0range I honestly wouldn't be shocked if they totally reworked his ability. Card draw is something they want to be very careful with, so perhaps they go back to the drawing board with this card. I'm not too familiar with his abilities in the comics, but maybe they could make him a versatile card similar to Nico Minoru. Either way, I don't think there's an easy solution to making Adam Warlock playable.

I got to infinite with Surfer this season. Lots of tech options and works great with Hope Summers.

Me too. The buffs from the Avengers/X-Men event really helped though. 😂 But it was my third time hitting infinite with Surfer, so it's not like Surfer isn't viable. Other than when Werewolf by Night was three energy, I think this is the best Surfer decks have ever been, especially now with Hope Summers in the mix.

Too bad Groot is still one of the least-used cards in the whole game. 😂

Hey, thanks for the comment! Man-Thing never crossed my mind when I came up with the idea, but I think his damage would count towards Punisher's Ongoing effect. Things get tricky if you involve Luke Cage; I'm thinking that if an opponent plays him, he would prevent Punisher from gaining more points after Luke hits the board, but he wouldn't negate all the damage that came before that point. It probably isn't a perfect suggestion, but I wanted to give Punisher some kind of synergy with cards that deal damage. I really like your suggestion as the Goblins have natural synergy with Punisher. Hopefully Second Dinner gives the card the love it deserves someday.

I don’t think it would be too broken if he counted all “possible” damage. Even if Luke cage is on the board, it would mean that punisher would have the exact same counters as knull. The only difference is that Luke cage counters the rest of your deck, whereas armor counters knulls deck

I think this all depends on High Evo Abom; if it still counts for their discount it should work otherwise it'll be inconsistent game logic
