I just want mine use white blonde. Just sitting with a streaking kit on again. I do not like my hair all blonde white, as it's a grown out pixie on top, and I am getting old so I do need to use a toner after 72 hours. Not straight after. My wife had almost white blinde hair we got together at 13 im almost 40 had 2 sons and hair never changed then we had our daughter idk why and may sound fake but after our daughter they tied her tubes cuz complications wasn't safe have another baby idk if that had anything to do with it or our daughter and wife's hormones but she went from a b cup to a dd and hair went from white blonde to dark brown so I dye her hair once a month have for last 13 years just use platinum blonde dye from walmart feria only we leave it in 1 hr and 45 min and she uses loreal purple shampoo and conditioner every day and her hair looks exactly like this video for 15 dollars a month plus shampoo

Ugh I’m so jealous- after I bleach my hair the toner burns my scalp 1000x time more then the bleach every has so I can only keep it on for 3-6 minutes. I’ve tried everything, as far as every sensitive scalp developer. As well as coconut oil etc.

Isn't it a permanent toner? It's what Wella says on their website. I have extremly bleached hair and any semi permanent toner washes right off like nothing was there. I would really wish to try them out because they're permanent but I'm scared to not mess up my blonde...

What if you only do foils will that toner change ur natural root color? I've had a tough time lately with my hair dresser I have alot of gold and orange after asking for white blonde and spending 300$. Appreciate ur vid

The main difference between 10 and 20 volume developer is that 20 volume will lift the hair 1-2 levels, as well as deposit the tones that will cancel out your starting base tones (yellow and/or orange.) A 10 volume developer used in toner will mostly just deposit color without much lifting, which is why the results will be more intense than what you get using a 20 volume developer. If you have a bit of residual yellow after bleaching you might want to use 20 volume to get a clean platinum result. If you are wanting that silvery result but still have a bit of yellow to lift, you can use 20 volume developer to get that lift and add the Cooling Violet Additive that Wella makes (050) to your toner to get that result in a single process. Also, I think it's super important to note that if you are wanting to tone your hair between bleachings because it's starting to get too brassy, do not use anything over a 10 volume developer unless you are going to be super, crazy careful not to get any on your virgin regrowth. In fact, even 10 volume developer can be a gamble since it can technically lift up to one level. Getting the toner on your regrowth will lift the hair only slightly, leaving you with "hot roots" that lean very red or orange. It's not a good look. You're better off using a good purple shampoo and/or conditioner consistently for maintenence. The longer you leave it on, the more effective it is. The good thing about purple shampoo is that if you leave it on too long, or your hair is super porous and it leaves a purple cast, you can use regular or better yet clarifying or dandruff shampoo to eliminate the purple asap.

Hello rachel , I would like to know how often you bleach it, and also if I have dark brown hair do you think it’s better with a 30 vol liquid? Normally I let it grow for a year and I do two bleachings one of 30 and the other of 20 vol and it is clear to me but it has begun to break and it is stained where the new ends and what was already previously bleached begins, help!

KZbin hair buddha doesnt know why wella say to use 20 developer bc toners normally u use 10 vol devloper they wouldnt respond to his emails u know why bc wella t18 etc says permanent color on it NOT TONER just learned that and is why it may burn its a permanent color not toner just beware!!!😮😮❤❤

i have the wella t18 and 20 developer and when i apply mine to my head it’s not purple it’s orange? this is on top of freshly bleached hair that’s almost white.

Will re-watch) will work on you? A patch test on less blonde hair (mine is light blonde but highlights now and I’ve been kinda skipping parts of the middle and underneath for my hairs health but f it lol) …would look weird hah that was a very odd sentence. 7:13 Do I need to lift any color out of my hair (like with Color Oops Color Remover, or Color Oops Color Prep) since I’ve bleached and dyed it 3x each in the past 8 weeks? Or, is this something I can do right away and still achieve the same (are similar) results? What difference in results would 30 or 40 volume developers have over 18 and 20?
