Great helpful hints. What about low bridges? How does one plan on navigating and avoiding low bridges? Is there a navigation system that properly routes you to avoid bridges that would damage your RV. Not all bridges or over passes are the same height. So is there an application that will take your RV height and then plot a route to avoid bridges that will not allow clear passage?

Good 👍 job with the training. You should also train drivers how to drive these RVs on the highway and more importantly how to drive around Semi Trucks. Also please 🙏 please use gloves to pump fuel.

I feel like a lot of this entire list should have been done by an RV Inspector at the dealership before the papers were ever signed. Other than buying the accessories, never buy them at the dealer. They're more expensive and they probably don't have the best products.

Exposed cheap OSB board that will disintegrate and be covered with mold the first time you try to use that shower or sink because they spent 5 minutes at the factory connecting the plumbing? Don’t worry, that’s completely normal. 😳 Your new RV will be in the dealer repair facility or back at the manufacturer for months or over a year once you own it, and then your “warranty” conveniently expires? Yup, don’t sweat it. 😥 Normal, normal, normal.

What are your feelings about school buses converted into RV’s that park in Love’s big rig parking areas and fuel up on the truck side of the station? I don’t have my bus yet (40’ er) but will be towing my car and want to avoid difficulties or misunderstandings when possible. Just as a side note: I’ve read that many/most Walmart’s won’t allow buses or RV’s to park on their lots any more. Is this also true for truckers? Also, many RV parks won’t allow converted buses (Skoolies) to park there either. Why is this?

Any way of getting around LOVES high price they charge extra for non truckers to fill up? Most Trucker get a discount for fuel with a fuel card. Pure extra profit for the truck stop when a motor home pulls in.

Do not overnight in a truck stop unless they have designated RV spots, the truckers need to take their mandatory 10 hr break, you can find many places to stop they can’t!

I'm a professional Motorcoach Operator and we don't use markers. It's better to train yourself to know how the vehicle drives and not be dependent on markers. Sometimes road lane marks are worn down, there can be debris on the road, it can be snowy, you can't always see the lines. It's better not to be dependent on stickers. Learn to drive your vehicle, practice a lot before you hit the roads. Just my opinion as a CDL driver. I can promise you no CDL driver uses marker stickers.
