Which temperature has the solder pen while in use? I usually have it on 355 degrees celsius for cables but ‘m afraid may be too high for components?

Helpful, but you need a closer shot of removing the standoffs. It's impossible to tell what you're doing to remove them. We broke the standoffs trying to get them out.

I have this system we purchased from Costco maybe 3 or 4 years ago. I just popped the grill off to look at the woofer and it was very difficult. Ended up slightly damaging the grill. The woofer was a good looking poly cone with rubber surround and fairly big magnet. I am replacing the 3" woofers in the speakers because I cannot stand the raspy sound of paper cones (I have this issue with the NHT Super Micro Zeros & Kanto YU4s so they sit unused atm). I am replacing them with the $25 ea Parts Express Dayton Audio DW3-12053SC with neodymium magnet. It is kind of ridiculous to spend $65 (shipping + tax) to replace (2) little woofers from a 2.1 speaker system we got on sale for $99 a few years ago but sound is important to me. I also cut the wires to the woofer and used some wire nuts to attach some 16/2 speaker wire out the port to power a spare Infinity Reference 1062W 10" 1.25 cu foot vented box we custom made to fit the trunk of a car in the spare tire area. We no longer have the car and I have been using the subwoofer as my under desk foot rest for years. We already have (2) 12" Infinity Reference subwoofers in vented boxes we made (4+ cu foot each box tuned to 19hz) powered by a Crown XLS1002 for serious listening. -Sony STRDH-790 -(2) Kef Q100's on the wall connected to speaker output A -(2) B&W M1Bs on my desk connected to speaker output B For regular listening and keeping the system off I use this Klipsch 2.1 system. When I want to really hear something I fire up the Sony & B&Ws & the dual 12s. Anyway thanks for uploading this video. It helped me know what to expect in disassembly.

Thanks to this guide just fixed my shark vacuum after 3 hours. I actually dismantled the whole thing. And took out belt cleaned it as I didn't have a new one. Plus undid the roller brush got that out and found clumps of dust stuck between roller and bracket. Tried to figure out how to put whole thing back together after cleaning it. And wallah the roller brush spins now. 😅. So of ur having same problem maybe it's nothing to to do with belt or connection pins too handle it just could be build up of dirt between roller and brackets. Saved me buying a new vacuum.

I dont understand why the tv manufacturers dont sell tv panels ? If they market a tv for sell for $500 in the market i dont see why not sell panels only for $250 as customer parts support. This is not making any sense. I have very beautiful tv its TCL 75r635 the screen turned dark bluiesh very faint bluiesh, i can see the backlight turns very bright behind the tv i did my own diagnosis and traced the problem and there is nothing i can do because its bad panel but i dont think its the panel it self i strongly think its the something in the long circuits boards attached to the panel that they can not be replaced and thats another problem in the tvs design they could've make those golden yellowish ribbons that comes from the screen to the long boards to be like the tcon style connections insted so repair can be made on it .

Free TV years ago Hatachi 42HDS69 when it gets warm, or hot it will draw a column on the right hand side of the screen, when I have the back off it will draw a green bar all the way to the right a Orange bar about four columns to the left and a purple column to the left of that. Only happens when the set is warm. Have replaced the main power board years ago. Other than this the tv works fine.

Great video. I have to replace the back light strips on Sony XBR-65x800G. I am guessing it is very similar to 65X900E. I notice on your tv there are screws to remove to get the front panel off. On the 65X800G there are no screws that I see. Can you tell me with as much detail as possible how to remove the front panel? Thnks!

I have a Samsung UA556400 , it’s just booting on and off. I disconnected the the main board from power board and it stopped rebooting. I then reconnected and disconnected Tcon from main board and again LEDs stayed on no rebooting . I then reconnected and disconnected both ribbon cables from screen to TCon and it was rebooting. Is this a faulty Tcon or Sofware corrupted

Should have read all the comments first...absolutely wild that a tech repair channel would miss, probably, the most important step of removing the driver boards as to not damage the gold ribbons. I slightly cut one on accident trying to separate the adhesive from the panel (also explained poorly). Screen works again but the color is now a little off and it has lines that make it look like an old tube TV. Pretty disappointing the comments were more informative than the video itself....

Hi, i have a question. I have a Samsung 40inch (Model: LA40B532P7VXXA). It just shuts down randomly. Sometimes it will stay on for 10 or 15 minutes before it shuts down, other times it might just be a few seconds. Every time, just before it shuts down, the screen will become a little brighter, and then it shuts down. I have opened the back and found the ground screws on both the power supply and main board to be a bit loose. Tightened it up, still the same issue. I also unplugged everything from the power supply, and it still does the same. Capasitors all looks good visually, and there is no other obvious damage that i can see. Any suggestions?
