Yes, I’m a Parrothead! I’ve loved Jimmy since the 70’s. I met him twice and saw him in concert numerous times. I’m so sorry you missed the fun and excitement of one of his concerts! I’m stitching Tropical Parrot by Les Petites Croix De Lucie in his memory. I can’t believe we lost Jimmy and Toby Keith in the same year😢 I was just in Garden City for Debby’s soaking. My husband and I joked that we drove from South Florida to South Carolina for a hurricane. I spent part of the soggy week with Amy and Memory. They’re such nice people! Love your flosstube and will continue to keep your husband in my prayers❤️ Great news on his health!

Those mill hill cardinals are gorgeous! And your frame color is perfection! I am thinking about you caring for your husband as we are going through a similar situation, only with a cancer diagnosis. He might be frustrated with the rate of recovery, but his body is telling him to not overdo things and rest. Sleep is a great healer, and I hope you are getting plenty of rest, too (stress can take a toll on you both). Hope all goes well with the CAT scan. Years ago, my daughter needed back surgery and was struck by how blessed we were to have good health care that paid for all but a few co-pays. Medical expenses can devastate a family's finances.
