I love seeing different finishing ideas! I think all of us who have been stitching for a while can use inspiration. I loved Stitchin Kitten. I think she has a great shop with the potential to grow into that space. BTW, I did not see that remnant drawer.

Those drawer are propped up to the counter on the left hand side, opposite to the thread wall. It is mostly 28 and 32 ct. perfect for smalls.

I'm glad we're not in a huge rush to finish Oct 31st. I feel bad that I've strayed behind a little bit on our SAL, but that just gives us more time to enjoy every stitch! The crab is adorable. The same designer has a pattern for both crow and a chameleon too. I may need those as well. The Pink/Red piece is finished. In its place, I focused on OCT31 this weekend. I hope that you were finally able to rest. Hugs!

I heard really good things about Stitchin Kitten while I was at the Queen City Stitchers retreat. She opened on Sunday so that a group from the retreat could come down and shop. Unfortunately I had an early flight home so I couldn't go. 🪡👠

Hello there! I stitched the Cedar Hill Christmas Country Village a long time ago, and I really love it. It turned out so cute. I would post an Instagram photo, but it’s tucked away with my Christmas decorations. I have that little crab chart too, but I haven’t started it. I just found you a couple video's back and I really enjoy your haul so much! Your stitching is great as well and I really am enjoying seeing projects that my other favorite floss tubers are not stitching. Forgive me if this has been said before, but a long time KZbinr once pointed out, that if you are looking into the camera to see if it's focusing on what you are holding up, it's not going to focus on what you want. It's looking for your eyeball to focus on. Automatic focus features are made to focus on eyeballs- almost all settings are. So, if you can see your recording device when you are holding something up to it, then it's not going to focus...because it can see your eyeball, lol. Even if your eyeball is peeking around the edge of something, it sees it. So, hold it up (even though you can't see the camera) hold it still and count to five. That's what they did and if I remember correctly, they were lifestyle vloggers so they always had haul to show. I hope that helps! And if it's annoying to you, then I apologize, not trying to criticize. Your videos are great as is. Thanks again for the content and so happy to find another floss tuber!

I have that Heart In Hand, and I like the bleach spray idea. Tiny Modernist design is called Crab Dance, I did mine on a mottled blue with some other colors in the fabric. Good idea to sand, do 2nd coat & wax over. It's best to paint those HL boxes vs Stain, as they seem to warp when stained. Sounds like a cute finish!! Nice WIP progress.

I love your craft and box finish idea; can't wait to see it fully finished. Can you please tell me what brand and where you got your double stick tape? I've always used pressable interfacing, but it sometimes goes through the holes in the perforated paper when it's pressed. Your method seems like a good alternative. Hi to Hank for me please.

I am concerned about the bleach spray on that fabric. Is it too harsh ? I don't want it to eat away the fabric threads. Great haul.
