I have one of each of these cordless vacuums and in my experience, LG cannot compare to Dyson for cleaning. Yes LG has extra battery which is nice. But I feel the cleaning power of my Dyson beats LG. Enjoyed seeing your testing and eval process, Thank you!

Bad idea. If Dysons washing machine was a disaster. The Submarine was the second. Also older v15s aren't compatible with this submarine attachment. You need the upgraded V15 detect with the wet function display so the suction motor doesn't cut in. A marketing waste of time.

did you also have a bad odor to the blue brush? i am washing it with hand washing liquid, but even after drying in the radiator, it still has a bad odor, are there any specific products that can make it smell nice? unfortunately i dont live in a sunny country and letting it dry outside is not possible. i actually did try to let it to the balcony but it stays wet, so radiator drying is the only solution for me, thanks!

Dyson has gone downhill. After pretty much the V11 absolute pro. Trigger or no trigger, heavy use is not recommended for these vacuums. Nothing beats a corded at times for heavy use. I would recommend a backup heavy duty corded vacuum rather than using a cordless battery op vacuum. Also the powerhead doesn't have uniform suction from end to end like most uprights that have a sideways hopper power head. Plus the brushes on the brushbars wear super fast. Get the Kirby avalir 2 vacuum it's amazing and fully serviceable and no wait time for parts if anything goes wrong.

Well the answer for this with the Submarine head with regular Dyson V15 is no.

I have this vacuum and ordered a new head through Dyson's website and it never shipped. I waited weeks without using my vacuum. I called their support and they said they'll ship. They never did, so I called again and they said "they will ship another one free of charge" as if I didn't already pay for it and they're doing me a favor. I asked for a refund. Dyson refunded me everything except the tax. I basically paid them $20 to provide me the worst customer service I experienced. I will never buy another Dyson product ever again.

I've been using V8 for 4 years. And I started using V15 submarine today. Clearly, the V15 is much better! Incredible! He's lifting the carpet into the air. I think that experience is important than the paper writing. For example, I cleaned a slightly dirty carpet intensively with V8 and waited for it to clean it again with V15 and show its tricks if any. I expected him to collect some more dust. But the last thing is incredible. Great! He even pulled small dusts. So I say, definitely V15 or no. Already v8 115AW. V15 240AW

Save your money on Dyson Products. They make their product like crap to make sure it only lasts a year or two. It's by design so you can buy another one. Buy a Shark or any other products.

This Dyson vacuum is the absolute worst. I just got rid of it. the bin broke on me twice within a year. It feels so cheap because of how lightweight it is. I love Dyson but this one wasn't for me unfortunately.

My parents had a normal Dyson vacuum cleaner and now the gen5. The plastic quality is bad. As a mechanical engineer I cry a little inside when I see this stuff being sold for these absurd prices. The suction power is virtually non existent compared with normal vacuum cleaners and you can't get properly under things like beds or cabinets because of the design. The brush does all the work. So, it does not suck in stuff from around the brush. I tested a few in a local store and personally prefer a few other brands like Miele for example. That build quality is way better compared to Dyson.

Ecovacs has refurbished T8 AIVI and N10 Max+ on eBay for under $200. I thought the T8 would be better with the camera but it looks like I was wrong! I wish the N10 had the oscillating mop, though Or I could spend double and get the Dreame L10s Ultra...

I just got the v11 plus, which isn't on this list. 399 at best buy and it's smaller and more powerful than our old plug in Bissell. Ladonna vacuumed this morning with the old vacuum and then when we got home we vacuumed with the new v11 plus and got quite a bit more stuff pulled up. I have a smaller rigid wet/dry vac, the oval 5hp, and I think its safe to say the dyson is more powerful... also it comes with an assortment of attachments
