I'm currently reading Pascal's Penses

This reminds me of what I've shared with unbelievers, even my son once, and on social media. If I live my life as a Catholic Christian because I believe in God, His Word in scripture, and the teachings of the Church then die and it was all a lie I lose nothing. If I live as if there is no God and die I lose Everything. Most importantly eternal life in heaven with Him. Why would I take chances with that. One thing none can dispute is that we're all going to die, and that's when we'll find out who was right. I pray daily for unbelievers and those who've fallen away from the Church. 🙏🤲🙏💗

He ought to offer some evidence of a probable inspired authority of the deuteron-canonical apocrypha - those seven books (and parts of two others). He could have compared Tbt 12: 15 with Rev 8: 2 and Lk 1: 29 and note that what the angel says could not have been based on any part of the standard Hebrew Bible. Rather, it corroborates Bible text that had not yet been written. Likewise, he would have done well to compare Wis: all; 3: 1-12 with various parts of the four gospel accounts. Here again, nothing that is stated in this section could have been based on the preceding Hebrew text. Yet, it matches what would be written over a century later.

I was raised Catholic and became a believer and follower of Jesus Christ our Savior at the age of 23. I soon discovered the small differences in the Catholic and Protestant Bible referred to in the abode message. In Romans 3 it tells us that God gave the Jews the Oracles of God (the Old Testament). It was not given to the Catholics or the Protestants. I then searched out several Jewish Bibles and they all had the same Bible text as that used by the Protestants. God's Word told me which Bible to use. But remember, it is not the Bible that died for us, it is Jesus our Lord, all Glory goes to Him.
