The only thing I don’t like about this motorcycle is that it doesn’t have highway light only one mono light in the middle. Other then that love the machine.

Man that color looks hot!!!! Looks orange in some shots and red in others. And I’m NOT normally a fan of orange. And all the night footage is awesome. As well as the scenery.

Both the GSX-S1000F and the new 2023 GSX-S1000GT suffers from the same poor design choice. The seating position feels weird and looks weird when people are riding these bikes. Sitting that upright on a sport bike, just weird. It looks like someone riding on a scooter when you see them riding these bikes. And when I test rode it , it just felt so weird sitting dead upright like that on a sport bike. All your weight on your bum, huge pain in my butt-cheeks after 2 hours. They should have made the riding position like they did with the Kawasaki H2SX, BMW S1000R, Tuono, Speed Triple, Ducati Supersport 950 and so on. Those are sport bikes with that nice semi-aggressive riding position where you lean forward a bit, enough to feel sporty and to even out equal weight on your wrists and butt. You then also lean into the wind more with 15-20 degrees forward lean on your back which makes the wind easier to go through.

I've had my 2007 1200 GSA up to 61 mpg but usually get around 51 with plenty of fun. I really appreciate how BMW seems to try to make their machines efficient and exceedingly user friendly. Way back...because of this review, I sold my 2011 R1200RT and bought this exact 2016 Cordoba blue R1200R. I miss the RT, but couldn't be happier with the R. Less wind protection yes, but lighter weight, leads to better handling in the twisties. It is such an under appreciated bike. It's perfect.

Great video! Most Harley reviews on KZbin are mainly focused on appearance only. This is fine if you are going to sit around and admire your bike for hours on end. But if you’re planning on putting down several thousand miles/yr, long distance comfort, ergonomics, and reliability are much more important than good looks…Thanks for the info!

trading in the R1200RT and getting that one.. I'm sold

i bought the 2016 R1200R with all the packages ~ $21,000 , i have a little over 37,000 miles. 3rd set of tires, michelins. before buying my bmw bike i was strictly a sportbike rider. i heard about the R nine T , but the dealer didn't have any, but they did have the watercooled R1200R . sales guy convinced me to buy it. but they would not take my 2013 blue white gsxr 750 in trade , so i financed the purchase then paid it off a year later. sold the gsxr 750 for a triumph 2017 bobber.

Could you get your hands on a 2022 GTL and make a new test . I had a BMW 1200 GT back in 2004 . would be great to see if it's better or just more add on's Thank you for the only real long test ride

I know this sounds strange however I was impressed with the 2021 Harley Ultra 114 . It’s very maneuverable and comfortable. We are In Denver and spend a lot of time in the mountains. I am leaning towards the k1600 . Do you think it’s good for two up riding . I know It might not be quite so comfortable as the Harley but wondered about your overall opinion. I loved the incredible sportiness of the 1600 . I had a 2015 Goldwing so the it seems light compared to that .

I am looking at a 2013 with 62000 on it but rides like a dream
