The image of Mary as the untier of knots has been coming across my awareness in many different venues recently. Yours is another example! Bless you!

Hello Fr Simon my name is John Donovan and I live in Cheltenham Gloucestershire, I am finding your talks helpful and supportive, I am an X monk having tried my vocation at Quarr in the nineteen seventy’s , I was very young and vulnerable, I had lost my mother before I even got to know her properly. I have spent many years in therapy, being listed to, through my suffering I like you am able to now help others. I still suffer from time to time with self doubt, or depression, thankfully I accept it as part of me, I get the feeling from listening to you that you accept your suffering too, I go back to Quarr for short stay now, for many years it was a place of too much pain, I do do see now that Christ was with me at that time as he is now, I now find the wisdom of St Benedict very helpful, mindful, I may have left contemplative life at Quarr but contemplative life has never left me. Yours in Christ John

So glad I happened upon this, and caught up with you two. I was a lowly law student in Balnagowan 72-75 but you two were always so immersed in philosophical discussions I was barely noticed! Great to see you both looking so well. With best regards Peter Jones Roscommon

I do hope that this isn’t the final video that you will release on your You Tube channel Fr Simon. Your weekly reflections have been both a highlight and an encouragement for many. I hope that you can enjoy the summer and if you decide not to return to your channel as once was then you will post the occasional video to let us know how you are.

Dear Fr Simon, I'm a subscriber to your KZbin channel it has been the most wonderful joy to watch your KZbin channel every week. I'm sorry to hear your Spirit is fallow at the moment . May I suggest a practice of the Wim Hof method daily. Also TRE( Trauma Release Exercise) both can be found on KZbin. I have found both practices to be absolutely life changing and unbelievably healing in every possible sense. Meanwhile, rest well. Amen. Kind Regards,David
