I appreciate Mucahit and his contemporary approach and critics of Religion in t the context of Islam and Turkish society/ Turkiye. Give us the tool to understand and at least guess the future of the religion.

I could critique this speech from the following perspectives: 1. Containing generalizations: The speaker sometimes makes very broad generalizations and criticizes all religious communities, sects, and religious people in Turkey, putting them all in the same basket. However, each religious group may have its own unique values, motivations, and practices. Ignoring this diversity may not lead to a healthy assessment. 2. An Orientalist perspective: The speaker sometimes uses language close to classical Orientalist discourses on issues such as the degeneration of religion and the lack of rationality. This may reflect a biased perspective. 3. Viewing secularization as positive: The speaker generally presents secularization trends as a positive development and considers the questioning of religion as a progressive step. However, it is overlooked that secularization can also lead to problems if it goes to extremes. 4. Incomplete analysis of causes: Explaining the phenomenon of moving away from religion solely by the AKP rule, corruption, and the attitudes of religious communities may be insufficient. Other factors such as globalization, individualization, and education levels should also be considered. 5. Lack of suggestions for solutions: While the speaker analyzes the current situation, he does not offer concrete suggestions on overcoming this crisis or reinterpreting religion. In conclusion, such broad social transformations could have been addressed with a more balanced, multi-faceted, and in-depth analysis. Nevertheless, the speech can be considered a valuable contribution in drawing attention to the current religious-secular transformations in Turkey.

Nothing unnatural is happening. Modern Türkiye was founded with the notion of that all Turks are supposed to be Muslims (which excluded Karamanoglus and lead to their population exchange to Greece), then forced a secularization, but to do that they first forced an İslamization of many non-Muslims if they are going to be a part of the new uniform secular Turkic order. Back then people were mostly uninformed about their religion and this aggressive non cohesive policy created a backlash in the social ground which led to demolition of the first order in Türkiye and gave way to new form of understanding and use of religion in political sphere. It was new compared to Kemalist atheist ideology but in its Essense, it was just a simple instrumentalization of religion which had innumerable examples in history, including some of the Ottoman rule as well. This new rule can be called "Müşrik" if the first order of Türkiye was to be called "Kafir", both of these have no logical cohesiveness but at least the Kafir order had the backbone to be honest about their motives. What is really happening that with growth of national wealth society is now being able to carry more of stupidity that can't be carried before, so people are expressing their inner lenience more honestly which is a way of Allah to make differentiate who is real believer and who is not. And useless generalizations and pejorative perspective towards religion and specifically Islam here, means nothing, real Muslims do not need numbers to rule over crowds who are enslaved by their fears of others and their excruciating desires which are never to be satisfied except with the remembrance of Allah.
When the political islam got the power in big Turkish cities, they felt they could get the ganimat by stealing from treajery, changing status of lands to transfer the fortune to their close circle with illegal decisions. They had promised to serve for the sake of god, but when they get authority they eagerly prefer stealing, bribary, and defecting the the constition and state institutions . They had killed the ethics, judicary, check-and balance of the state instutions, and they created fortune for themselves. What they caused is defected democracy, abondening rule of law, corrupted state and economy, devistated education system, extreme inflation, huge budget deficits and widespread poverty. While these are hapenning, almost all religous officials in the mosques turned into propoganda media claiming that high inflation over us is not because of ignorant management but because of the will of Allah, since most of the society is still secular! People are unhappy, unemployed, struggling under stagflation, having no thrust to any state instutions or judicary. People understand that ethics and religion are seperate. When there is ethics and rule of law, no need to religous enforcements, when there is not ethics nothing works. In Turkiye, political islam have murdered the ethics and rule of law, people now know that all their narratives is a game of power to grasp the ruling authority. Religion has emprically died in the minds.

By the way, İ'm very pleased to hear/ listen to and see both of you at this platform on Kurdish music.

The truth is that most of people who calls themselves Turks are not Turks. After Empire collapsed most of Muslims immigrated to Anatolia (Turkey). They don’t have a shared culture or music.Kurds are not like that.Kurds has shared culture ,folklore and music. So Kurdish culture and music is very rich
