Great video. In my area it's code to install a box with a divider if there's line and low voltage in the same box, otherwise they'd have to be in separate boxes to avoid the risk of 120 conducting through a low voltage wire.

With a good and inexpensive in feed table for your table saw you wouldn’t need a track saw. A good cart with locking wheels works great. Everyone that I see use a track saw on KZbin just handles the material more than needed. I think track saws are great for the field but not in a shop where things can be controlled. I do like the miter saw station.

Someone may have already asked but I don't see it. I really like the drawer sets in your build. Can you tell me where you got them ... if they are available retail?

Lesson #1, hook up a shop vac to your saw. Lesson #2, cover your garage door with a sheet of plastic. Lastly, using 2 1/2" screws to attach the base to the wall was not sufficient. A 2 X 12 is 1.5" thick, plus .5" drywall means the screws are only going into the wall studs .5". No good!

Question, I pulled the carpet & tile from my 1300 sq ft house. I am dealing with cracks about 4mm wide and some the concrete is off by 3/16”s of an inch is that a foundation issue & should be worry? Or grind it flat level with a grinder and then seal the cracks & self level the whole home

Great down to earth video tutorial. No fancy made jigs. I already planned to do this. I already used a plain piece of plywood to make my planer jig that I have used a few times to build a walnut picture frame for a custom art piece i bought for my wife. Took a cheap walnut slab to a picture frame. I just have to add the micro jig grooves to my planer jig. I used my track saw last time to make a straight edge. Then the jobsite saw to square up the other side. Worked like a champ. Thanks again for the content.

That extra wood you left and trim with the router in my opinion was unnecessary and cause some extra work, other than that the final result is nice although always 45 degrees miter technique is a step up, more professional

Nicely done !! It's good to see people do things the right way the first time. You show true craftsmanship, well done. I see you have a wonderful table saw outfit. I had one at my previous employer, but now retired. I loved that saw !!!

Looks fantastic! For those of us without a table router, how difficult would it be to use a palm router? I'm thinking pretty rough without the fence to support the pieces. Oh, and for those without a complete arsenal of clamps, I've been able to use a couple of clamps on one "axis" (think x, y, z) and weights on the other axis. You have to be careful to balance it just right, but it works pretty well.

Nice! Why didn't you use CA glue for the miter fold? I see lots of trim carpenters using it on window and door casings, and it seems to make a very strong joint and cures almost instantly.

I'm new here and enjoyed this very much. I've made a floating shelf myself out of well-sanded pallet wood, and it looked really quite good. But the difference between my happy amateur effort and your perfectly constructed and finished pieces is pretty glaring. It's nice to see a proper job done.

I do piano restorations, and I’m always looking for new materials for refinishing the case and case parts. I’ve been using Pre-cat lacquer because it goes on quick and hardens fast. Of course I have to rub out the finish to get a flat smooth patina that gives a closed grain finish. So…..would this work over this kind of finish to give it more luster?

Most fireplaces like that have an access panel underneath the firebox where you put the valve and a flex hose to make the final connection from your hard pipe. This space also houses the electronics and pilot mechanism.

It is food contact safe. So it can be used on things like charcuterie boards, countertops, and table tops. But is not recommended for cutting boards.

Is slightly dangerous running fans off lighting circuits, it can cause wiring to hot possibly catch fire as lighting pulls lower Ampage than electrical motors.

Great video! I am a beginner in woodworking but career machinist. This is the 1st vid I’ve seen on this type of shelf. Looks like a great way to do it. Maybe some relief in the groove somewhere would allow excess glue to travel and you wouldn’t need so much clamping pressure. But I dont mean to give advice in something I know nothing about, mainly just for feedback. I’m about to try your method! Thanks!

i bought the Festool 150/5 for 575 and the bosch one for 200 on sale. The festool has no dust collection bag so make sure u have a dust extractor setup. The bosch is a lot taller and not as ergonomic. Both so far seem to cut through pretty well. The bosch is harder to get in areas because it has a thing you attach to it to hold it for less vibration. Yes I can take it off but hasle to put back on and off. Still testing both and will be sending the loser back.
