Pretty good idea of what you do and yeh that would be a tough gig. As a nurse, I specifically have no intention of doing ED or ever trying to get into Paramedics for the very reason you are experiencing now. I get lots of anxiety so getting out is hard; even more so when I have no one to ride with so I get not really riding by yourself. If I feel really flat its hard to get myself to ride alone, but I am far more likely to go out with mates and everytime I do I feel so much better; it really is like meditation or therapy and I feel better for having done it everytime. When you are out and so focussed on the trails and riding you don't have time to think or worry about anything else and I always come home feeling more alive and thankful for it.

I’m glad you uploaded this one Kiel. Like everyone…we all start riding for different reasons(mainly fun)but I can’t almost guarantee clearing one’s cluttered mind would be up there. See blokes talk more because real blokes like you lead the way. Bro I use my channel to talk through stuff because I want blokes to see it’s ok to make yourself vulnerable . It’s not for everyone but those lucky enough I find it’s a huge part of mind space health. I use mine to talk about cancer I had / got but my biggest thing in my life is having two kids with disability . Bro I love them but it’s hard man. I ride to reset my mind to be my very best for them . I’ve often pulled up somewhere and had a cry feeling sorry for myself but things just make sense after a ride . I completely applaud you for putting those big balls out there and saying “ hey riding is my mental health tool” . I know about your previous injuries so I can only guess the importance of MTB to you. I also have no clue what you do for a living but I hope you enjoy it . I thoroughly enjoyed your video and I sure can relate . Thanks for making this video mate❤️

Thanks Mick 🙏. I 100% agree with you, even though riding is a fun activity to do, and not only is it physically taxing in relation to the exercise, but I feel like it’s taxing on the mind (in a good way), that like you said, helps reset the mind. I love it.

Nice work! The conditions look nice. We raced the fox superflow there a couple of months ago and I slid into the small tree on the left of the trail at 00:00:44 at like 35km/h and dented my downtube, cost me a frame! Apart from the dust the trails there are fun. Well ridden!

Hi, just some background info. My wife and I have had a total of 5 vtrs. 2 the same series as yours, and 3 the newer fuel injected versions. We have been playing with them for over 12 yrs. Great bikes. Good simple cheap tricks,- change rear sprocket +2 teeth (max revs then means 160km/hr) gives better acceleration. Braided brake line (front most important). Upgrade front fork springs or at least add spacer above springs, 10mm for lighter rider, 12mm for heavier. 7.5 or 10w fork oil. If you have more budget rear shock upgrade is seriously good for handling.. yss for cbr600f4 with adjustable length drops in and is huge upgrade. Drop front end a bit (5-8mm) and lift the back with the yss and it is a brutal canyon carver. Destroys larger bikes by being radically more agile and stable. We live on Mallorca so tight corners are normal.
@bikesandbulletsMTB3 ай бұрын
Do you have a link to the specific yss rear shock? My standard rear shock is definitely at the end of its life. Hit a decent bump on a ride yesterday, and the licence plate managed to hit the rear tyre and folded the plate in half 🤦🏻♂️. I’m looking on the yss Australia website and the only one it bring up is the 99-07 CBR 600 f. Does that sound like the right one?
