Awesome video. You speak the truth. I live in Northern California and can only drive legally as fast as you guys. I had a speed triple, 675r Daytona, Ducati 800 s2r, ktm 990 superduke. A year and a half ago I had a stroke, I pretty much bounced back but during recovery I said I need a lighter motorcycle and the 390 duke has been getting high praise (all models) I got the same bike your riding and man it rails the backroads. Through my recovery I got my strength back and I’m ok with my 2007 ktm 990. I’m going to sell the 990 as it’s getting long in the tooth and repair costs. I might try the new ktm 990, but the 390 is a keeper. I’m 6 feet and it works just fine. It’s cheap, 52mpg, all the add ons are a fraction of the cost of bigger bikes. P.s. I’ll check out your mtb videos, I’m big into Hardtail Mullets. Hardtail Party! Have a Santa Cruz Chameleon mullet and a Stanton Slackline I run as mullet

Ohh damn man sorry to hear about your stroke. Must have been a hell of a thing to go through. Yeh man I think as I get older and wiser, the less concerned I get about how fast I want to go haha i currently have the 99 Honda VTR that I’m building into a cafe racer and once that’s finished, it will be a nice little cruiser that I can take to bike meets. I will probably get myself another street triple to ride as a commuter though. I’m not entirely sure what exhaust my friend is getting for the duke 390, apparently there is only 2 types available for the 2024 duke 390 currently but I will make a post on here once he has it installed.

@@bikesandbulletsMTB yes, I don’t recommend a stroke. It’s like your brain and speech don’t work for months. Luckily my body got sharp quickly. When I motorcycle and mtb I forget anything is wrong. Anyway it makes you eat healthy. I do miss the 9% IPA beers though! Can’t drink. I had the 1999 triumph speed triple in roulette green, great bike.
