I isntalled the timney trigger into my psa dagger compact and im having the same reset “binary fire” issue with both springs. Has anyone else has this issue? Im not sure how to fix this? Should I get a factory glock trigger bar?
@TheNateTake2 күн бұрын
In my experience, that is fixed by using a factory trigger bar. That's where I would start.

Just now finding out that KZbin doesn't allow showing the disassembly of a firearm. We need a new platform to compete with KZbin.
@TheNateTake4 күн бұрын
There's quite a few actually. But KZbin is basically a monopoly on the free video sharing platform, so it's not feasible for creators to go to other platforms, they get paid pennies compared to KZbin for the views, if at all.

People need to stop showing on video them checking their firearm point blank do it before you don't need a waste time showing it. If people don't understand that this should be done before the video in the camera is on or why messing with the firearm and taking it apart they don't need to have a gun they don't need to own a gun It's common sense. I think the stupidest thing I see on videos is people showing on video of them clearing their firearm and then you watch another video where people don't show that on video and you get stupid idiots commenting saying why didn't you clear your firearm You don't know what you're doing. No you do not need to put it on video and if someone accidentally shoots themselves taking apart their gun they don't need to have a firearm this is not okay it's not for safety You're actually causing an issue because if those people are that stupid they do not need a firearm it's just that simple but I love your videos stop showing yourself clearing the firearm It doesn't make sense

why nobody measures the output current on 110 and 220 to see if customers are getting what they ay for.too bad yes welders don't have spot weld feature.
@TheNateTake18 күн бұрын
Spot welding is really only used by the Chinese and by auto body welders. Most people won't use it, so it makes sense not to include it on every machine, because then everyone would pay more for a feature most wouldn't use.

The instructions for tire change missing from the felt pouch and I'm wondering about jack points. Do you know?

I do know. Normally your owners manual will have that information. If not, you Google "2013 Ford f150 jack points" and then click on the images tab, you can find copies of the literature showing where they are.

120A on stick is for 1/8" ROD, not material. Looks like you're using 1/16", maybe 3/32 rod. 1/16 rod should be in the 20-45A range and 3/32 should be 40-90A. And also... you going WAY, waaay too fast. Go slower than you think you need to go and do slow 1/8" circles as you move along .... slowly (or side to side, but slow circles are easier for new stick welders). Keep a tight arc length. If you get undercut, you're going too fast or not pausing long enough on the toes. Pause on the toe, move through the middle, pause on the other toe (when moving side to side).

Hi Nate. First time welder here and I have some stupid questions. I just bought the YWM-160 and planning to do flux core welding on 1/8" steel bar. First, I should plug the cable already attached to the machine to the NEGATIVE terminal and plug the ground clamp to the positive terminal, right? Second, when using "smart" mode, how do we set the wire feed speed? The chart says we should set it to 450 but the maximum I can see on the screen is 120? I am thinking that I should use 220V in order to have higher setting, am I wrong? Thank you very much in advance!

That's a loaded question. What kind of welding are you doing? Which machine are you using? If you're doing flux core, what size wire are you using? If you're doing stick, what rod do you have on hand?

@C-V-Z2 ай бұрын
Bought mine when it first came out back in like 2019. Used it for exhaust, body panels, tractor repair, firearm builds, custom engine mounts, you name it. Pretty much pays for itself in the first job. It's been rained on too and still keeps trucking. Tensioner and wire feed is kinda meh so you have to make sure your spool gun cable is kept relatively straight to make sure your wire feed is consistent. I must have gotten a decent one that had good QC. They are on sale for 100$ today so I might grab another.

Did the same. You can't beat it for $99. It's a cheap welder that works for the average person and at $99 it pays for itself the first project you aren't paying a shop labor rate.

I'm always shocked to see professional welders recommending not to "cheap out" on a first machine and insisted on a $1000+ to someone who is new or has not done any welding before. It's a terrible shame and it probably keeps alot of people away from learning how to weld. I'm glad that there are companies like Yes Welder and others that are bringing budget options to the market that perform just as good as the big brands.
