@@tonycordovatc if you are able to stand in front of the Miro and look into your DTF printer, it should be a straight line from the printer’s pinch rollers to the take up reel of the Miro… don’t know if you have access to one, but a laser line level would benefit as well. This way you can try to keep the edge of the film straight all the way through.

@@tonycordovatc also, where the film exits the DTF printer, it should flow evenly. If you see a dip on either side of the film, then turn the Miro until it evens up

Could we please get a video of you layering in this app? I am curious as to how easy it is vs photoshop... Also does this app allow pixels to be deleted? I know sometimes AI tends to leave behind some pixels making it look like an unwanted outline. Thank you

@@bugginfelix I believe that they are no longer carried by DTF Station, because the whole line has been upgraded. The R1 has a lower price point, but the quality and speed are top notch!

Hey! I tried this film and ended up having too many issues with it and went back to the color prime universal. Curious on how you have felt after a few months of using it or if you are still using it and any tips you have found with it!?

@@nickdyer6506 I have noticed that depending on the amount of ink coverage on the film, the peel might need a second to “sit”… like, I raise my heat press, remove my garment from the platen, then peel. But on smaller or less detailed prints, quick peel away!

Do you vectorize your procreate art work before printing? If not how do you do it?

@@outthere09 yes, I will export it with a transparent background and as a PNG file. If I need to clean up the outline, I will run it through Illustrator for a quick image trace. If I need a super quick fix, I use an app called “PhotoRoom” to knock out the background and clean up the outline

@@devotedbrand quick question. Are all the 3 tubes that go to the waste tank supposed to have ink coming out? For some reason only 2 of mine are. And on the head status for some reason white keeps printing half way over the black. Feel like I’ve filled ink for over 3 minutes. Smh

@MightyGunzTV that’s a good question about the three tubes… I honestly don’t know, but I can check the next time I service the R2. As far as the white ink, have you performed a head clean and/or used the swabs to clean underneath the print head? Sometimes a good wet capping can solve any ink issues, as well

Please answer this question, with the purchase of the Prestige R2 shaker bundle...will I need to purchase a separate drying unit like the Phoenix Air 2? or once the print comes off the Miro 13...will it be ready for printing on the shirt or substrate?

If you are buying the R2 Pro and the Miro 13, then once the R2 Pro finishes printing it will be fed into the Miro 13. The Miro 13 will apply the adhesive powder, shake off the excess, bake the adhesive, and then finally roll it up in a take up reel. The Miro 13 has its own built in purification system, so you would need nothing extra. The best combo that I have bought!

@@KyKaneso besides tattooing, the R2 PRO has opened up a way for me to make clothing for the studio also! Now while people are waiting, they can browse our selection. Once I tell them it’s made in house, they love it! I have also offered printing services to some of my clients as well. This addition is a definite game changer

That's what we are doing. My buddy runs a bunch of sober living houses and homeless shelters, so he's trying to make some of his old friends, like me, super successful. He is God-sent, without a doubt. So, the tattoo shop, barber shop, and pawn shop are all close, but that's what we're going to do-put them in each person's store. Let them level up. I just got my miro 13 this week and I am not sure why you are doing this. Can you explain more. I have wasted sooooo much vinyl trying to get this right. Is this if you are just printing one sheet?

I am taking an old core and feeding film through the Miro to the printer… this way the printer film isn’t wasted advancing it all the way through the Miro

What happens with the powder after the job is finished and you cut the media at the machine? Does the excess drop below into a bin or what happens?

Well, two things can happen. Yes, if you cut the film and take away the slack, then it will drop into a collection bin. Then you can reuse the powder for your next printing. Or, before you cut the film, advance enough through so you cut next to the take up reel. Then stick a magnet to the film hanging out of the Miro, that way the film stays tight and you don’t drop the powder.
