It is always best to confirm with Alientech first before doing this. Whilst some protocols are similar at lot of protocols are brand new and as such it may not be compatible to use a kess3 to write a ktag file or vice versa.

They are meant to be 550ps, but most tend to run 550bhp when we test them. They do make good power.

Had a failed injector on #4 which then was stuck/corroded in place. JLR UK service centres have a significant wait before even getting it looked at. Mine required a specialist to remove it and it cost over £2k to fix.

That's correct. The only powertrain upgrades to this vehicle were the 200cpsi hi-flow CE cats and our Viezu Performance remap to the engine control unit. The rest of the powertrain was completely stock.

The pump is slightly different on this model to the typical ones we supply so we would really like to see your FPACE SVR in our workshop to confirm if we have a pump option for you. Hi - happy to help, we are running and testing a number of cars with 725bhp and 1000Nm torque we are seeing no issues at all, we do find if you push to 750bhp, the gearbox does start to get quite hot on the dyno, but even then there are no issues on the road we have see. We have plans to push further next year

Is it possible to get about 275+ BHP out of the 300c CRD 218bhp, 2006/2007 model, without new intercooler and turbo upgrades, but just using remapping, EGR, switch off, Swirl flap shut down, and DPF removal, without pushing it too near the edge as it were ?

A remap on this vehicle would get you close to those figures without the need to remove anything from the powertrain. Tuning the standard vehicle, providing that it is in good mechanical condition, well serviced and maintained then you should see up to 57hp and 90nm of torque on an vehicle of that age. For anything more than the 270bhp area, you will be looking at hardware upgrades such as an intercooler and hybrid turbo etc.

What about the lower right side Accessory tab ? If the car has several accessory codes how do you choose the right one if the automatic id doesn’t select it. For example i have a Opel Vectra C 2005 1.9 CDTI 120hp stock and have several codes in that section. What do they actually mean ? Thanks a lot !

The accessories shows you what is possibly required to use that specific protocol and option you are looking at currently. If you are selecting OBD, it will show you obd accessories, ktag it will show you the accessories for the connection method you have selected and so on. When you proceed to option the instructions it will become clearer as to which accessories are required for each connection method. I would advise though, with the age of the tool you are using, for the latest and greatest range of vehicles supported , reading and writing speeds, you should look to upgrade to the KESS3 to unlock your full tuning potential. Hi Mark the intake stands up well to the UK weather. We have been out in our F-Type in torrential rain and had no problems. The air filters are situated in a protected spot above the undertray. I wouldn't drive the car into flood water but wet road conditions will not affect the air intake.

Throttle response is improved, but to really make a dramatic difference its best combined with a remap and supercharger drive pully too, this will be night and day faster, and around 465bhp too!

Will not put the other guys down, there are some great tuners in the UK. Interesting video ! What fuel are you running ie 97, 98, 99 Ron. Is the map ECU & TCU or ECU only.

Running regular pump gas, would be 95, they run fine on this, only when we add the pulley upgrades do we switch to a premium fuel which is 97/98 in the UK

It's not lost any torque, std they are 461ftlbs, yours ran 539ftlbs so that's a really decent increase

Agreed, but it dips off a little too quick, so it made peek torque, but did not hold it as long as we like to see , we do see that on the dyno quite often, this is a 2009 car, this is where people find they can feel a bit flatter than they think it used to .

I don’t get, why you say an uprated coolant pump is better so it doesn’t get so much heat soak from the charge air. And then the, next minute saying you want as much heat out of the charge air into the coolant?

Yes that is correct, you want to get the heat out of the metal supercharger by cooling the water passing through it, this helps cool and reduces heat soak, the charger passing its heat into the cooler water, then this water is passed though the radiator to remove that heat and the cycle begins again.
