WHO IS THAT BASSIT?

A soul singer who used a guitar as his vocal cords. Never a wasted note. If I had to pick just one guitar hero of course it would be Jeff.

I've always liked the quote about Beck's "pulling" notes from his guitar. And the presence and musical connection with Tal was over the top.

Quite the tempo and arrangement for this song. The drumming was kick-ass too.

I am so at peace to have seen Jeff Beck play a few years ago at the auditorium in Thunderbay accompanied by my son. I wanted share with him the feeling of what the spirit of the 60's and 70's music revolution was all about.

blow by blow will amaze you. Imagine him , Page, and Clapton all played in the Yardbirds. Not together but Jimmy and Jeff did play live together at the Anderson Theater before Zeppelin.

Every version of this performance I've seen on youtube is always slightly out of sync, but this one (and maybe it was just a bad stream and not always as bad) the band finished playing 30 full seconds before the audio was over

If only I'd had more talent on the guitar, maybe I would've someday been invited to play with one of my main inspirations, Jeff Beck. Rest in peace brother.

wow , have never seen / heard this before...am a 70 yr old huge fan of John McLaughlin...ever since i was a teener..couldn't get enough of it...and still to this day hearing Beck play his version..i am still so stupified that the mainstream audience flock to see Taylor Swift..when quality REAL MUSIC is available...oh well thanks for the upload..adding it to my collection...R.I.P. Beck and that drummer...woef imagine Ringo trying to play like that...yet every year Ringo is in the top 10-15 list of best drummers...B.S....he wound up in the Beatles..had he missed that gig he would have been a complete unknown
