You didn't explain how to adjust headlights, what screw to turn?
@chrisfraser54227 күн бұрын
You can check it yourself , you need to use your dipstick from the Oil dip and mark a line on it and use that to check it. Make sure you know the measurements on the Oil dip though it's online.

You most certainly can check yourself. Aftermarket dipstick. Comes with a chart as well so that you can properly check the fluid.

Hello 👋 thank you for this video. I have a similar problem that I want to change the engine. Can you recommend where to buy it from ? Thank you.

First off, thank you for your video, i just came across while on YT. I just installed an engine on a 2012 journey 3.6, but when I go to turn the crank by hand (ratchet on harmonic balancer) it seems to get stuck even after we cranked it and it turned freely before installing engine. Do you have any idea of what it might be or advice? thank you much
@ArchesMechanic25 күн бұрын
If there are spark plugs in it it will have higher compression and take a bit more effort to turn. Double check the connection to the transmission also. Torque converter bolts might not be tight or in the wrong spot.

What repair manual did you use? I have a 2017 journey that needs an engine swap.

Charm.li use the newest they offer. They’re all the same from 2011 up

Don’t you want to not touch the new bulb with your fingers dye oils on them can damage the bulb. The package I have says to use gloves if touching bulb .

That was the recirculating actuator. There is three. The one on the right which u changed is recirc and the two on the left (very back ) is passenger heat and cold actuator. the on the left (front) is the actuator to open the door to the feet and windshield.

Omgosh I have been dealing with this for years splicing and using electrical tape to fix. Until right now my left reverse light the white and the red light won’t work and my rear wiper. This video is going to help this 59 year old Grandma fix her 2013 Dodge journey. I just replaced the battery, alternator and starter. Changed the oil today as my journey broke down in 2021. I finally was able to do the work and the rear wiring harness is the only thing I have left. Thank you so very much for this video! I am so tired of taking the bus and ordered groceries online cause is just to hot in Texas was 99 degrees today September 21, 2024. I hope I can find this wiring harness for purchase. Dodge should definitely recalled this.

My daughter-in-law has a 2011 Dodge journey. Leaking oil everywhere on the passenger side.Im mechanically inclined, however, I'm 76 years old.This repair looks like it's out of my ballpark.All the videos and comments indicate a after market oil cooler repair is a long shot Gamble.I would never buy a Dodge.My Grandson had a Dodge avenger.Always grounding problems,or something with the security system.Any advice would be helpful.

It’s really not too bad. Remove air box and ducting, remove plenum, remove intake manifold, remove oil cooler. Check out www.charm.li and search your vehicle. There should be procedures in there.

Upper intake manifold gasket should be replaced at the same time. Might as well since you’re there.

Thank you. Had someone wave me down in traffic yesterday to tell me my light was out. Flashback to ten years ago where it ended up costing almost $400 for Chevy to change the wiring on my HHR. I'm really hoping this replacement is as simple as you showed. Otherwise I don't know how I'll make it to work this month without getting pulled over.
