Is this supposed to be sexy or an accompanying video for aerobics or gym yogas, etc? Why does it make my mind go and think of Napoleon Dynamite's skilled hands classes. Something isn't working, she needs an upgrade choreographies with some soulful Lawfundah or Toni Basil big time, to achive fluidity half way to Gene Kelly's or Charisse's or Rita Moreno's Somehow reminds me of another fave of mine since childhood, David Byrne going for some physicality in shows or image use for their music. Caroline is very much like him anyways _she's too good for these, and not an MJ or Jackson-6... she's the thinking woman of music female stars and we need an intellectual female role model in this ever muddy mundane decay in modern Music

This sounds like 80-90's music.. Definitely she has a wide_huge range of music sounds up in her brain formation and spirit inner voice. I can't believe how lush and resourceful her voice and feminine sounds are. Not from a super background as long or as powerful as Aretha's, but close up there and in a very personal way, no imitator like so many "professional s" faking raspy or throating like so many country crooning cowgirls or those "thinking themselves sexy" by throaty talking radio djs posers Can't believe -now shocked, that she projected herself in that video fantasy, as the latest Jewish scientist trooper with wild Mediterranean longings, so highschool girly nerdie....but it's ok. Her acts remind me of Kate Bush extravaganzas, which at any rate is waaaay better than the Madonna's or Swifty's galaxy's divas they pitch themselves as good as Joan Crawford's did

I must say that Chairlift is very underrated by myself. I have never paid much attention to them, but until recently due to Caroline Polachek's fame I have given them a chance and the few singles I've checked are songs that I ve heard several times but that I didn't know it was them, songs that are part of my ecosystem but that I have confused with other many indie artists. You know, the typical ''Oh, I didn't know this song was by them, Oh, I didn't know this other was theirs also''. It had been a curious yet comforting experience.

At last something original in a formula saturated pop market. Chairlift and Caroline Polachek demonstrate that there is life in pop music still, and that this is as good as the best music of the last fifty years.
