One standout thing that sounds just incredible about Bruises (over headphones) is that incredibly awesome bass line featured throughout the entire song. Love it. Chairlift is so underrated. I must say that Chairlift is very underrated by myself. I have never paid much attention to them, but until recently due to Caroline Polachek's fame I have given them a chance and the few singles I've checked are songs that I ve heard several times but that I didn't know it was them, songs that are part of my ecosystem but that I have confused with other many indie artists. You know, the typical ''Oh, I didn't know this song was by them, Oh, I didn't know this other was theirs also''. It had been a curious yet comforting experience.

Hundred times I have heard this mystic song. Slowly I realized some treasuries: she sings like a true girl telling lovely things to her boyfriend. The intonation makes me shiver, the boy's voice too. Great tune! Brings back the new wave moods. The synthesizer in the background reminds me the early O.M.D songs, for example the "Almost".
