Interesting thing about the quagga: it’s actually just a color morph of the common zebra that was only found in that region of Southern Africa. The gene behind it is still in modern zebras and there is a team of people selectively breeding zebras to look like quaggas again. They’ve actually made a lot of progress.

Never gotten this far on this campaign since I’m not a fan of the shows as a whole. Didn’t realize that it has a whopping 5 scenarios to complete

Yeah, the reward is nice, but a little underwhelming, especially compared to the cat climber and breeding center. I still think that when it comes to the scenarios overall, Endangered Species expansion brought the best of them, with all 9 having unique challenges and goals that were fun to accomplish.

I know you were asking about audio for your mic; sounds fine to me. It’s a shame how zoos have kinda given the giant panda a reputation that they are poor breeders when it’s really just that they don’t do well in a captive setting. In the wild, they breed perfectly fine and as frequently as other bear species. It was habitat destruction that was the major threat.

Yeah, I was wondering why you were having such bad luck drawing the black rhino too😂. The breeding center is probably the best campaign reward in the entire game in terms of practical use. And you don’t really have that many scenarios left.

For the final scenario, here’s a list of the eligible animals for you: 0.5 stars: none, but bison, gazelles, and camels will be the best long term to begin 1 star: scimitar-horned oryx 1.5 stars: Galapagos tortoise and baird’s tapir 2 stars: sable antelope and markhor 2.5 stars: none, good chance to focus on guests and bolster your existing herds 3 stars: black rhino and Przewalksi’s horse 3.5 stars: chimp, tiger, grizzly bear, Javan rhino, Spanish lynx, and African wild dog 4 stars: african elephant, red panda, gorilla, snow leopard, and gibbon 4.5 stars: orangutan There are a few others from some of the other expansions and bonus downloads like the addax and Asian elephant, but that list is what I use for my rule set. Chances are you’ll need at least every species up until 3 stars and a few from 3.5. But boy, is the breeding center worth it.

Yeah, restaurants are huge. Once you get to 3 stars, it’s always good to replace your food stands with them; that way, you don’t have to worry about trash or need to hire janitors.

This campaign set is probably my second favorite. A tip for the next scenario, you don’t have to wait for the baby animal to grow up and release it into the wild to win; you can just release one of the parents after the baby is born and it will satisfy the conditions. Helpful time saver.
