I bought mine a few years back. Ac wouldn’t blow cold. Just blows outside temp air. Heater works fine. Any suggestions? It looks like previous owner had tried to tie in the cable since there’s two connects that go to the fan, one just hangs down.

No that has nothing to do with blowing cold. If it’s blowing any air at all that’s a good sigh make sure it’s on cold and the ac compressor clutch engagement is heard if not your prob low on Freon.

@@Teggybuild101 I had added Freon and actually replaced the compressor before. Still wouldn’t blow cold. That’s why I always thought it was an electrical issue

@@cesarmoreno891 if the ac button is on for the compressor and the clutch doesn’t engage you have a clutch issue or wiring to the clutch or low Freon. You have to go one by one and figure out what is wrong. First make sure 12 volts go to the compressor red wire if not add it if it doesn’t click it’s bad and if it’s getting 12 and not clicking the compressor is junk

@@Teggybuild101 I honestly think it’s a wiring issue cause that’s the 2nd compressor not engaging. I never got around to it cause I didn’t want to throw money at it since I got it for real cheap.

Hey man can u help my 2002 Acura TL Type S won’t start it will crank but won’t start it was driving perfect than i was starting it it took a whilee to start than it started so I took it out to driveway for a wash parked it back in garage dident start it for about 2 months than I tried starting it and it wouldent start at all just crank n I check to hear fuel pump and fuel pump goes on I’m guessing it’s the fuel filter is bad ?

First things first this could be a fuel pump issue or spark or it can also be a crankshaft sensor or camshaft do you have a scanner ?

But my boy it sounds like a crankshaft sensor or camshaft the way to find out is with a scanner sheck the engine speed while cranking its most likely that

You have to start at base one check if it’s 175 high side and 30-40 on low if that’s what I have it’s inside the car is the problem if I have 90 150 then ur clutch ir ac compressor is bad

Check the wire at the blower motor take it out if it’s burnt replace it then if that’s ok change the resister same problem it’s the control panel

The battery went dead and it blew the resistor, another time The battery went really low, and now it’s not blowing anything and I replace the resistor… Could it be a relay or fuse?

@@Teggybuild101 no, just led tail lights…. One of the headlights was out, I replace the headlight housing bulbs and balest. While messing around turning on and off the headlights, I ran the battery to low to where it needed to be jumpstarted. Now the fan does not work, so I replaced the resistor again and still nothing.

@@weebleslove469 do you have a power probe if you do check everything make sure power and ground is running to the resister and then to the fan motor and I’m not talking about a test light a {power probe} further diagnose it start at the fan then the resister then the control unit

Troubleshooting help needed! 2002 TL type S will not start. I bought 3 months ago, and it came with two black keys and a great key All keys open doors, and to turn in the ignition, but only one turns the car on. Don't understand why second key is not recognized by immobilizer, and trying to tease apart and mobilizer now not recognizing the other key, versus alternate options. Scenario was as such.. vehicle was running, an inverter was attached to my battery, and a small appliance was plugged into it. It was running while I was trying to recharge the AC. I turned the car off, inverter still attached for about another 15 minutes. Removed it, close the hood, and went to start my vehicle up again.. no start. Engine cranks, but doesn't engage. Similar to how it is with the other key, so potentially security system?? I will test the fuel, by saturating my air filter. What are some other options here? Kind of desperately need my car running! The tank is Rusty, and so I will be looking at my fuel filter, to see if there's evidence of blockage, as well as the gas in the air filter. Thanks for the video. I hope you have some suggestions.

Does your security light flash when the key is in or the red light on your door or dash flash if so get the key reprogrammed these cheap keys people get are trash and don’t last I would honestly get the key reprogrammed with Honda key and start there

Yes but remember there’s a recall on the wire that goes to the blower motor that goes bad pull the plug out look at it and if it’s burnt replace it when you have the plug off supply power to the blower motor using a external battery to see if the motor is bad

I need to replace the wire harness to the blower motor. I dont want to splice, tube shrink, electrical tape or piggie back no wires. How do you replace it since its behind the glove compartment somewhere. How do you take everything off?

Why would an Acura Tl 2000 not start anymore after running out of gas? It turns over but won't engage Starter, spark plugs, alternator and battery all good. Replaced the screen on the fuel pump but not the pump itself yet Please help!!!

Cook E Z well odv you burned the pump out start easy check your fuses and relays make sure when you go from off to on you see the engine light turn on and then off after 2 seconds lissen for the wine of the fuel pump the screen on the fp wont do anything even if it’s dirty reply back when you did thoes things I’ll further help you

Any idea why I would have very little air flow on any setting, heat or air. It barely blows out. Blower fan is working and resistor has been replaced as well as cabin air filters.

Tara Hamilton try this for me take you blower fan out turn it on and if it makes a tornado in ur car then look into if it’s a different problem like it’s blowing at face and windshield or anything like that

@@Teggybuild101 already done that. I have also switched the settings to all settings and the same amount of air blows regardless. I have also taken a air compressor and blew the vents and where the cabin filters are and I can't seem to find a blockage

howard muzik your best bet is to go to a junkyard pull the hardness and just rewire it that’s what I did to my car I rewired everything with heat resistant wire and taped it up real nice

2000 acura TL. Ac not blowing cold air ( heater dont blow hot air either ) but the blower seem to works since i can change the speed of blowing fan. just blowing air though no cold air.. anyone know what might be the problem? i checked yestedsay. low side pressure about 90 and high side is about 30.

Ben Padichith you have a leak in the system most likely a compressor problem refill it with a r-134 can till it’s on the green 40-50 psi I’m pretty sure try that if that works u have a leak or your valve that goes to the heater from the engine is bad or the motor if it has one is bad that opens and closes the valve from the engine

Was having fuel issues after getting bad gas was thinking I had a clog somewhere in the lineset. it seems to have bleed its self out I replaced fuel filter pump and siphoned and cleaned the tank. Ran some high octane in it and it ran rough for a tank or two then ran fine thank you for the reply man.

Yes I have a 2002 TL type s . I have some electric problem I can not figure out I tried the main relay switch but same problem let's me drive for thirty mins then shuts down for 20 min . I had it checked no codes pop up . Please help me ..thank u

Phil Bake because is this is ur engine shutdown it could be multi things your ecu is going bad or your immobilizer is going bad

It is the engine shuts down and I will have to pull over for 20 min or so and it will work . Everything else seems fine . I been trying to figure it out now for awhile I know it's some easy to fix I just can't figure it out . Thank u for responding

Rita Martin well start a investigation fine out what cylinder is misfireing swap the spark plug with the other side is it still misfires on the same side swap the coil is still no change then swap injectors then fuel filter then fuel pump

I just bought the same light because of the battery I am going to modify the try me switch to a toggle switch and use up the battery's power then take apart and copy with fresh new rechargeables,and battery box going to put in hole on fork at the top of wheel been looking for an unboxing video it's still in the car lol what are you using the light for yourself.

This isn’t where the fuel filter is though..there’s a small screen on that pump (in this video) but the filter on mine is under the hood. Or was that my Camry 🤔
