This isn’t where the fuel filter is though..there’s a small screen on that pump (in this video) but the filter on mine is under the hood. Or was that my Camry 🤔

Why would an Acura Tl 2000 not start anymore after running out of gas? It turns over but won't engage Starter, spark plugs, alternator and battery all good. Replaced the screen on the fuel pump but not the pump itself yet Please help!!!

Cook E Z well odv you burned the pump out start easy check your fuses and relays make sure when you go from off to on you see the engine light turn on and then off after 2 seconds lissen for the wine of the fuel pump the screen on the fp wont do anything even if it’s dirty reply back when you did thoes things I’ll further help you

Hey man can u help my 2002 Acura TL Type S won’t start it will crank but won’t start it was driving perfect than i was starting it it took a whilee to start than it started so I took it out to driveway for a wash parked it back in garage dident start it for about 2 months than I tried starting it and it wouldent start at all just crank n I check to hear fuel pump and fuel pump goes on I’m guessing it’s the fuel filter is bad ?

First things first this could be a fuel pump issue or spark or it can also be a crankshaft sensor or camshaft do you have a scanner ?

But my boy it sounds like a crankshaft sensor or camshaft the way to find out is with a scanner sheck the engine speed while cranking its most likely that

hey i have 03 acura tl type s, earlier i started my car just had a little under half a tank, then while driving on highway the needle dropped to under the E and gas light came on. i filled the tank to FULL, turned the car on and off a couple time while driving throughout the day and still reads empty. any idea whats up? thanks for help

Chris G well there's some ways to find out what's wrong experiment it sounds like you ether have a loose wire going to the fuel guage not in the dad in the tank or the fuel sensor needs replacement I had another costomer that had the same problem but the wire was loose and the sensor was broken in the fuel tank so take the fuel filter out like I showed in this video and replace it and it should work😀

Chris G but find a video that shows how to test the fuel level sensor in the tank and that's how u can find out if that's the problem or nipped wire or loose connection but if any of that doesn't work refer to a professional mechanic in ur area.

Troubleshooting help needed! 2002 TL type S will not start. I bought 3 months ago, and it came with two black keys and a great key All keys open doors, and to turn in the ignition, but only one turns the car on. Don't understand why second key is not recognized by immobilizer, and trying to tease apart and mobilizer now not recognizing the other key, versus alternate options. Scenario was as such.. vehicle was running, an inverter was attached to my battery, and a small appliance was plugged into it. It was running while I was trying to recharge the AC. I turned the car off, inverter still attached for about another 15 minutes. Removed it, close the hood, and went to start my vehicle up again.. no start. Engine cranks, but doesn't engage. Similar to how it is with the other key, so potentially security system?? I will test the fuel, by saturating my air filter. What are some other options here? Kind of desperately need my car running! The tank is Rusty, and so I will be looking at my fuel filter, to see if there's evidence of blockage, as well as the gas in the air filter. Thanks for the video. I hope you have some suggestions.

Does your security light flash when the key is in or the red light on your door or dash flash if so get the key reprogrammed these cheap keys people get are trash and don’t last I would honestly get the key reprogrammed with Honda key and start there

Was having fuel issues after getting bad gas was thinking I had a clog somewhere in the lineset. it seems to have bleed its self out I replaced fuel filter pump and siphoned and cleaned the tank. Ran some high octane in it and it ran rough for a tank or two then ran fine thank you for the reply man.

I got a acurs tls and i put premium gas and then accidently put unleaded gas and know im trying to get the fuel out how do i do tht ?

miguel herb we’ll see you dont need to take that gas out all premium gas does is have more octane for more power I put 93 octane sometimes and 84 octane it really doesn’t mater but if you really want it out you can ether find the fuel pump lead and turn the pump on or take the fuel pump Assembly out and pump it out with ur own pump

Yes I have a 2002 TL type s . I have some electric problem I can not figure out I tried the main relay switch but same problem let's me drive for thirty mins then shuts down for 20 min . I had it checked no codes pop up . Please help me ..thank u

Phil Bake because is this is ur engine shutdown it could be multi things your ecu is going bad or your immobilizer is going bad

It is the engine shuts down and I will have to pull over for 20 min or so and it will work . Everything else seems fine . I been trying to figure it out now for awhile I know it's some easy to fix I just can't figure it out . Thank u for responding

Rita Martin well start a investigation fine out what cylinder is misfireing swap the spark plug with the other side is it still misfires on the same side swap the coil is still no change then swap injectors then fuel filter then fuel pump
