I know this is an old video, but I was so impressed I had to comment to thank you. I blind bought this perfume recently and am currently waiting for it's arrival so I thought I'd scour KZbin looking for reviews to satisfy me until I finally get my opportunity to dive in. Your review is hands down the most informative of the reviews I've seen and I learned so much! So many reviews seem to be regurgitating the same information I could find on the PDF website. Yours was different. I loved learning there is a name for the wet cement/ground smell I've loved my whole life but never knew there was a category for it: Petrichor! And now smelling other fragrances I have with iris notes helps me pinpoint it. Adding your insights with Indian culture was a treat as well. Thank you for sharing this review! 😊

BDC is great. I love the Parfum. Ofcourse, it has a low projection but it lasts for a long time and has really good silage. I get the lemon zest, pineapple and sandalwood on my skin and it smells so deep and wonderful.

I got the so called “dupe” from Dubai the Club the Nuit Exclusif and it made me feel the same way. Sick and disgusted by the smell. It definitely has to be the heavy musk 🤮 Have you smell the Oriana one, the darker pink bottle? If yes, I would like to hear your thoughts on that one since we seemed to have the same olfactory taste 😃

I'm with you, I bought a sample, was sooo excited to try, sprayed once and hated it. I let it sit for a while to give it a chance... An hour later I was in the shower scrubbing it off! I don't get the hype at all, it's revolting. This said, I like light fresh scents especially ones like Essentric 1, Le Labo Another 13, Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay, Byredo Bal D'Afrique 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

I'm in the minority too-- I never liked the ridiculously overhyped Delina. I love many Initio and Parfums de Marly fragrances but this one is so painfully ordinary on my skin that I don't get it achieving 'modern classic' status. That sharp, tart, sour rhubarb and rose combination just makes me think of toilet cleaning products. Perhaps it's cultural a little bit too? Fragrances all have very different connotations depending which country you grew up in, y'know?
