This is interesting. I myself have examined several hundred near death experiences. Jesus does appear in many of them, but not all of them. I’d be interested to know what his thoughts are on the accounts people share of past lives and reincarnation.

God has no religion. Many folks who habe an NDE lose their religion when they return. This guy has an incredibly small sample size. Check out Dr. Bruce Greyson and Dr. Jeffrey Long if you want some TRUTH.

Not sure where you’re getting that from. Im a fan of Jeffery longs work as well but “this guy” has over 1500 studies that he’s documented over many years. Most people don’t come back saying this denomination is true and this one isn’t but according to a 5 year clinical study from Dr.Sabin and Dr.Sartori, more people come back taking traditional religious practices. Like church, praying, Bible reading, and so on.

Well, of course we can imagaine or fantasize about what Christ might have said about a number of issues. What I have always found interesting is that, while scripture of course doesn't record Him saying anything about homosexuality, it does record Him mandating our obligation to the poor, the sick, and the marginalized in society, and says that those who don't do this will go to their "eternal punishment" (Matthew 25:32-46) , yet while I see (literally) a couple of hundred sermons and discussions about homosexuality on the internet, I very rarely see any on that issue, or the fact that, while there are around twenty other scriptures that specifically tell us to treat migrants with love and kindness, and as if they are "native born", there are MANY Christians in the U.S. who malign and demonize them. Again, I very rarely see this discussed. Also, Christ addresses the issue of wealth hoarding, telling us not to "store up treasures on Earth", and actually suggests on two occasions that, while not impossible, it will be extremely unlikely for the rich to enter Heaven (Luke 6:24 and Matthew 19:24), but again, this is not a popular topic to acknowledge, like homosexuality, and indeed a huge number of Christians NEVER duscuss this. Now Paul, while he absolutely was of the opinion that homosexuality was deeply sinful, also taught that everyone who could possibly do so should strive to remain celibate as he was, and that it was better if a man "never touched a woman" (1 Corinthians 7:8-9 and 1 Corinthians 7:1), although he does say that if one simply cannot "hack" being celibate it is better to marry than "burn with lust". Now, if Paul's letters to the various churches, his opinions to the various churches, are indeed "God's Word" as much as what Christ said, it is interesting that very few Christians pay any heed to THOSE Pauline scriptures. Looking at the old cultural laws, we again absolutely find a prohibition against homosexuality....and also a law that states that any child who "curses" their parents should be put to death. Similarly, there are things in the Torah/Old Testament, which we no longer believe in, like slavery and genocide. Scripture is quite clear in that, not only does God condone slavery, it is God who sets forth the rules as to who can be made a slave and who can't (Leviticus 25:44-46), and it is God who directs the Israelites to carry out genocides on various peoples, even to "ripping open" the bellies of their pregnant women (Hosea 13:16). Of course, today, Human society having evolved and matured over the last couple of thousand years, we no longer accept either slavery or genocide as acceptable. It is interesting, given all we have learned about sexual orientation, that we do not, as Christians, reconsider the scriptures regarding homosexuality in the same way.....especially since The Gospels do not record Christ as having ever addressed it. Just some thoughts.

Also, Christians cannot be gay, however, non-Christians have no obligation to follow the rules/laws of the Christian religion; you know, exactly how Christians have no obligation to follow the rules/laws of any other religion! Ezekiel said the sin of Sodom was being full of bread but neglecting to strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. Essentially, they kept the fresh bread to themselves while throwing their crumbs to the dogs. Church pantries still do this giving expired bread donated by grocery stores to the poor, but it's not loving your neighbor as yourself. The children of Mammon eat fresh. It wasn't homosexuality that condemned Sodom. The angels went there to destroy it before that even happened. Rather, it's because God promised Abraham if He could not find 10 righteous. Not everyone was gay. That's not to say that sexual immorality didn't contribute, but it wasn't the only factor.

I've heard preaching against greed and gossip. The reason this gets way more attention from the Church is because it is a hot button topic these days that is literally everywhere and is difficult to avoid. Clearly we're going to need to combat it on a level that extends beyond a simple and single response. Besides, we don't have an actual movement of people telling us that greed and gossip are "healthy" and "loving" things to do. Not the case with the color movement. They are acting as though it is "perfectly fine" and essentially guiding people into an ever-lasting pit of darkness under the guise of "kindness" and of "love." So again, of course we're going to tell people the truth from the mountain tops and do so over and over again.

People who fear the devil and think he’s powerful enough to possess them are people who have very little, or no faith in Jesus, who is all-powerful and who loves us with infinite mercy and love. Their preoccupation and obsession with the devil means he is more important to them than Jesus. He seems to be their first love, although they won’t admit it, even to themselves! If Jesus were first in your life you would be filled with joy, and instead of playing with evil and the devil. You would be busy looking for opportunities to love Jesus by loving your neighbor. Jesus said he came to give us joy, not crippling fear and anxiety!

I believe that if we sin without remorse knowingly we just don't get the chance to live how we were meant to And we die. at the end of the day the principles in the bible are measurable by their outcomes and can't be fudged.

It helps to understand WHY many people leave Christianity. How many Christians have persecuted, hated, and drove society's most marginalized to homelessness, addiction, and suicide? How many children have been abandoned by their Christian parents for being gay? Can you blame any one of these apostates? You can't expect people who are raised in this kind of religious environment to truly understand what they're doing by denouncing the church. I pray for their healing and their return to Christ.

I'm thinking Satans best attack is mentally. More and more people are moving away from God. I tried getting an accommodation from my work to not work on the sabbath and they denied it because it would hurt the business. I work for a major telecommunications company. I doubt I alone will have that impact. I just keep praying at this point that God will intervene and I am sure he will. But Satan has gotten into peoples heads and found ways to push people away from God. those little people on your shoulder, one angel and 1 demon...are actually real, just not small. Satan always tries to influence us to sin and trying to use our free will as a weapon to lead us astray. But God is forgiving through his son and if we confess our sins he will forgive us from all unrighteousness. Do not be tempted by Satan, he wanders around like a lion.

During my Christian walk I've encountered demonic spirits and I've seen an Angelic spirit during a breakthrough of mine. I have many testimonies. Isn't it ironic that when Lucifer fell he took 1/3 of the angels with him. And in Revelation 9:15 when the 4 fallen angels are released they will wipe out 1/3 of mankind. 🤔. Something to ponder...

I’m sorry you feel that way. You know I’ve been wrong about things in my life. I’m assuming you might have been as well. Please think about that decision. If by chance you are wrong it’s an eternity. Just think about that. You can find YOUR path. Never let bad people lead you away from faith. That is not God. It’s people. You will have a a life that will take a while to break down the layers. But is so peaceful. Of course it’s your will. But I hope you reconsider.
