I think they do an awesome cover. Now if we can finally get Foo Fighters to embrace some Nirvana since they paved their own path without playing any of it, they have earned the right to give the people just a little taste of their shared past. It’s okay & people would love to hear it!

I think the connection here might be Bowie and a mutual love between Scott and DM. I'm not aware of Scott being a fan of Depeche Mode. I'd love it if it were true, STP and DM are two of my favourite bands, up there with Zep, early Sabbath, AIC, Tool, Def Tones and Radiohead

Finally discovered this. Grew up with Radiohead. Missed Joy Division and New Order live. Got to see Radiohead live. But this is perhaps one of the best songs ever written. Wish there was a complete and good quality recording with Ian singing it. Wish I could have seen Joy Division live. But this cover is amazing. They enjoyed doing this so much. And it sounds so great. Wow.
