Hi Rebecca, I don't have the full recording, bit I know a man who might. I'll message him and see if he has a copy. What was your interest in this particular performance? His was it was the first show he ever saw and he is now a successful musical director in Musical Theatre in Edinburgh.

​@@63gentlegiant Oh, thank you so much! I'm really interested in Steve Balsamo from the 1993 Edinburgh cast, who later became famous in the 1996 version of Jesus Christ Superstar. A few years ago, I found out he played Feuilly and understudied Marius in this production, and I tried really hard to find a copy of the audio recording. It's been 30 years, and his fans never believed a recording of his performance in Les Miserables could be found. But the video you uploaded has given me the confidence to search for it again! I'd really appreciate any help from you ❤

Good. During a time of money being tight, they’d have been criticised for wasting money if they had gone to town. It was bright and colourful and people were enjoying the music stage. More important than putting on a lavish show.

Seeing Les Mis age 5. Wow, that must have had some impact on you. I got the album Evita when I was 13 and finally managed to perform in the show 5 years ago aged 52. That was a fabulous experience. I see we have a number of mutual friends in the wonderful world of music.

@@tommietravers6407 closest I got to performing Les Mis was singing the role of Javert in One Day More with Kerry Ellis as Eponine and Jai McDowall (Britain's Got Talent winner) as Val Jean. Getting to do that show would be the only thing to top Evita. Andrew Scott and Lewis Kerr were also in the cast.
