Procession of flags during the opening to the UCI Cycling world opening ceremony in George Square Glasgow. Volunteers for the event carry a flag for each of the countries involved in the forthcoming championships.

Good. During a time of money being tight, they’d have been criticised for wasting money if they had gone to town. It was bright and colourful and people were enjoying the music stage. More important than putting on a lavish show.
