Sounds like that turbo about to go .. indeed 112 bhp for a 2.7 v6 that aint good ... standard they have 190 bhp with a good remap stage 1 you can get around 230-240 bhp

That gives it 897 Nm torque after the tune. Not bad, but I think that engine is capable of more.

These figures seem peculiar… even the lowest power 2.8CRD from 2007 has power of 175hp @3800rpm and the torque of 410nm at 2000rpm. How come your figures are different? Are the factory figures measured at the flywheel as opposed to the wheels or something like that? Thanks

standard power is 145kw (19x BHP) for 2014 and up. I never heared about 2017 2.8diesel of 150bhp.

Difference between at the wheels and at the crank. Standard advertised power is measured at the crank without any ancillaries (no serpentine belt effectively).

From factory these are 118kw and 381Nm at the flywheel. These numbers are either wrong or this particular engine was running quite badly before the tune. 440Nm at the wheels is a good end result though.

Commenting on the dangerous act of re-tuning/ecu re-mapping your car. It is well known fact through out the car sales world around the world that if you re-map/re-tune your ecu you loose all your warranty rights under law. This is also noted by the fact that none of these businesses will give a written warranty for engine or drive train damage to your car. These people and businesses are as bad as phone scammers.

I think people are assuming that they are displaying corrected hp at the flywheel, there as this is more likely the result of HP delivered to all 4 wheels - ie factoring in the power train loss.. so 150awhp from 250 engine hp.. not very common in Australia to have corrected ‘bhp’ figures actually it’s not common to see hp even.. normally it’s KW at the wheels (Australia is Metric)
