ADL in the past focused on defending Jews against anti-Semitism but has now become one more standard liberal advocacy group. Today, the ADL like the ACLU is a distant shadow of itself. They are highly politicized Liberal Advocacy groups devoted to the Democratic Party and Democratic Party politics and focused on punishing enemies of the Democratic Party whether from the Right or Left. For example in July of 2021, the ADL announced that it was partnering with PayPal to censor speech. Under the agreement, the ADL would notify PayPal of individuals and groups the ADL in sole discretion concluded were “extremist” as defined by a liberal advocacy group. PayPal would than ban those individuals and groups from participating in the PayPal financial system which today is central to the financial service interest. Basically, the ADL has been empowered to ban anyone from the Financial Service Industry if they decide in their own interest if one is an extremist because one hold an ideology the ADL dislikes. The ADL is a staunch supporter of Israel and has a long history on spying on human rights activist (e.g., Palestinian Americans) and inserting itself into corporate and public schools with “anti-bias” training while mainstreaming anti Muslim hatred and disparaging their organizations. Accordingly, anyone who disagrees with Israel’s actions and / or defends the Palestinians can be labeled an extremist by the ADL without legal recourse. Where does all this bring us to in America? First we saw the censorship of Free Speech by Big Tech. Now Big Tech seeks to keep “deplorables” and the unpopular out of the financial industry. This is about censoring and silencing dissented of the Neo Liberal order by banning them from being able to function in society. Every citizen should be able to participate in the financial system independent of one’s political ideology. So if one’s political ideology is not consistent with the ADL they are labeled dangerous. This extraordinary power should not be put in the hands of a deeply political ethnic organization. This is despotic and tyrannical. Since the government cannot formally criminalize protest, we now have NGOs like the ADL going outside the law to impose severe punishment on anyone who dissents against them.
