Like all the history on EGL is dependant on people not deleting their LJ accounts and posts, and there is so much content on tumblr and facebook and twitter that is essentially nearly unsearchable. So many of the blogs from that era are being deleted as the bloggers stop writing or the blogging platforms close. I feel like there is almost less information from the 2010s than from the early 2000s just because so much of the content wasn't picked up by things like the wayback machine or put into print. And there is so much that is just group knowledge, like who the designers for various indie brands are, and when brands started or renamed. It's a lot... (Also hope you are feeling better!)

I'm really curious out of personal style preferences and learning about a lot, would you be able to mix gothic lolita elements with goth harajuku styles since they're similar? Or would wearing a lolita dress and be considered rude if you paired it with the goth harajuku style? And are you able to switch between lolita and other styles without it being offensive?.. Im a little late, and i dont know if someone has mentioned this already but there is a web browser/mobile app game simillar to poupéegirl called Everyskies Ive been playing it for a while, in it you can chat, dress up, make blogs customize profiles etc. The fashion in the game is fully player-created, and while its not fully lolita orianted there are alot of users making lolita items, one of the most popular ones being Lacedream who creates both sweet, gothic and classic lolita pieces. The game has two ingame currencies, one easier to get than the other but there is a lot of trading and selling whithin the comnunity, so obtaining premium currency or even items you cant afford to buy in shop easier :3
