My mom has a 2007 E350. She purchased the car at lease return and now she has 80000 miles on it. So far these were the issues The sunroof was 800$ The water pump, engine and transmission mounts. Cabin filter, wiring harness and oil reservoir change that added up to 1200$ Spark plugs and coils that ran her about 600$ Transmission control Unit was second generation and was changed to G4 and that ran her about 1400$. She hasn’t had a balance shaft issue but I’m getting concerned wether she should keep the car the way it goes.. I’m hoping she doesn’t have to spend more on this..She loves the car..

My 2017 cls550 has the upgraded screen w CarPlay and it works perfectly. Also has the 9 speed. Much better mileage.

Just bought this car used with 42K miles on it - It came with the remote start package and you simply tap the lock button 3 times and hold on the last press to remote start. AMAZING!

yo around summer time i’m looking to buy a sl55 or e55 im stuck between the 2 , their both around the same price/mileage , would the sl be faster , better cooling or more reliable than the e55 or vise versa any pros and cons you know of i appreciate it . ~ i alr got a e350 w211 but i dont mind duplicating the body is the sl55 not worth

I love both, I own e55, E350 an s600 . the SL55 had ABC. E55 has the air, honestly it depends on what you prefer. i do like the ABC its smooth and drives like a dream. Little pricey but its a 100,000 car so it’s expected

I would personally go with the E55 and I may be biased but the SL has the ABC hydraulic suspension which is great when it works but very expensive to fix when it doesn’t. The SL is also a hard top convertible so that could be an issue. Both are great you just have to look into them and see which one fits what your looking for

@@evogt8702 i might end up with the e55 just for more space and i don’t see water tanks for the sl55 idk if the sl would heat soak before the e55 “i know a couple things but basically a newbie” and yeah the abc is iffy would aftermarket suspension be near the quality of abc ?

Honestly I have my CL63 and it has the ABC, I have never felt a better suspension than the ABC. The coil over suspension will never be as good and feel as comfortable.

I have to disagree with the bluetooth. My iphone pairs as soon as I turn the car on if it was in blutooth mode already . I'll go time it. It took 7 seconds to pair. Thats faster than my apple carplay in the 2022 lexus.

I’m about to get this car but ( used ) 2021. I’ve sold BMW’s for about 7 years and I’ll tell you that car is hard to beat. Very reliable, fast, lots of torque at lower rpm etc. great all around car.
