Updating The Ugly Steering Wheel on My E55 to a Newer Version

Ok so I have an 06 e55 so all I need is the e63 wheel and airbag, no e63 clockspring and no soldering the main plug. Did you actually confirm the paddle shifters worked after install while driving? Ive read something about an adapter being needed for the new paddles to be used. How much thicker is the e63 wheel grip vs the e55? Did the buttons light up the same amber color as the original buttons? I appreciate your help, I also hate my e55 wheel, its too skinny and my leather is worn down anyway

Watch the whole video. Your going to need the whole clock spring and harness from the E63
