I think some of the best parts of these, is the people and their language. They don’t throw the F bomb every third word. Even the ones that are super angry. So it makes a pleasant to watch. But if they tried this with today, society, any of these things, people are so out of control it would be disgusting. And every third word would be the F word because it seems like every culture thinks that F word is the only word that they know how to pronounce correctly. And it’s the most often used word from every culture. And you know it’s really disgustingis there is no other word in other cultures. They still use the same four letters with the same sounds. So no matter where they went if they did candid camera today, it would be a mess People back, then had dignity they had dignity in themselves, and they had dignity for the people around them.

I had to look it up. $20 in 1963 is equivalent to more than $200 today. I hope she got her high-fidelity antenna for free after all that.

You have to remember that $20 in 1963 is worth over $200 today, so this was no small change deal for the lady. Very creative stunt.

This was one of the funniest ones ever. And then the sneezing phone. I think the sneezing phone was my top favorite one. I wished I could see that because I laughed so hard every time I see it And I would love just love to be able to do that, but we live in the world where people hate and get too angry too easy and so it would be impossible to do this sneezing phone

I actually agree. That said, I try to post a representation of my Dad's work, as well as his beloved sidekicks, such as Fannie Flagg. This wasn't my favorite type of sequence because it showcased Fannie (who is great) more than the unsuspecting person. Plus they only came up with one person, and no reveal. But, for the record, I wanted to include this in our collection. -Peter

This brings back annoying memories of the last time I bought a car that was on display in the showroom. It was 6 months old because a young woman had to return it because she couldn't afford to make the payments. The size was what I was looking for (mid-size SUV). That idiot girl had ordered absolutely everything that I would never need (some were standard features for that model too) - NEVER NEED air conditioning, heated seats, large speaker on back hatch that could be flipped down in case of partying outside, all kinds of DVD/phone/GPS/and hard drive options on a screen, autostick (manual shifting without a clutch) plus automatic shift, and a few other useless features that a senior living in a tiny town would not use. Saleswoman kept harping on all that nonsense so I finally had to explain those were the last things I would have wanted. What she didn't tell me was that there was a remote start/heat/defrost installed that actually came in handy some winter days where I could defrost my car and start it from inside my home. Can't even bother with listening to music since there are only 2 shops in my hometown - post office and a few more minutes on the same road is the grocery store. I don't even get through two lines of a song before I am at my destination. Yes, I bought it for the 4WD and remote start only.
