The British man was a genuinely nice person. What he said back then still holds true today.

The poor fist guy couldn't watch this because it didn't air in Denmark, but maybe his grandkids can now see it on KZbin.

I had the same issue with English speaking Filipinos when asking for "fly swatters" and many other items. Different "English" and culture but great place to visit or retire to.

The last guy said old school to mean old fashioned. I thought the saying "old school" came about in the late 90s. I guess I was wrong.

“Old school” is an old school phrase.

I remember my relatives in Europe used those sticky strips that they hung from lamps, etc. They were gross because the flies stuck to them and it was unsightly since you didn't take them down often. I've never owned a fly swatter since we just use an old advertising flier that can be thrown away after a good swat. I've also released one or two by opening the window and shushing it out with my hand. So glad I do not have many flies in my area.

Yes, I too remember those sticky strips here in the U.S. They were gross!

I loved this show. They never tried to make the people look stupid or anything like that. Today they would make fun of the people and I hate that kind of thing.

I don’t get it. But I do miss the old days. Everyone knows it was better. And yes it’s open borders and crime. Fact!

Yes, isn't the contrast so blatant, those years when people related to one-another, (yes, even strangers from another country), from this information age we now live in?

Reagen opened the borders in the 80s in an attempt to end unions. This is not the first time around the block.
