Check Ankor: Embers. I feel you may like it, given you seem to like blends of genres, and songs that are primarily rhythmical, but also forcefull and melodical all at the same time. Or, just like everybody else after Ratatata, We Got the Moves by Electric Callboy :)

I'd say, don't worry about not liking what is recognised as classics within a genre. There is a reason we still hear Beethoven and Mozart after centuries. Even if some prefer one over the other, both have pieces that are globally recognised as masterpieces. So even if you end up liking one band over another. You would do yourself a disservice by not listening to what is recognised as classic rock/metal/country/pop/whatever. And how you feel about top 40, says more about what is produced, and propped up as the best of current, than it says about your tastes. I think it is common practice now, for artists and companies, to buy their own records to prop up their numbers. And now they can do it digitally, so they avoid filling the landfill.

This song was basically the collab I never knew I needed. There was just something wholesome about the dad energy happening from the Electric Callboy guys haha. Also fun fact about the ending part of the song: During the live parts this song was sung, Momometal would also add her own growls/screams alongside EC's Kevin. It's so cool!

You need to check out more Electric Callboy. Hypa Hypa is what made them really big with Reaction channels. I personally love Tekkno Train off their latest EP. They got some other big ones like We Got the Moves and Pump It. Hypa Hypa went big though, they have a whole Hypa Hypa EP with other bands and individual artists taking Hypa Hypa and making it in their own styles. So many different versions of Hypa Hypa, from a Scandanvian style German metal band like Saltatio Mortis to Disco style version with a German artist named Sasha and an even more Metalcore heavy version by yet another German band named We Butter the Bread with Butter.

Electric Callboy really bring the fun vibes in the metal community. Considering a lot of metal bands make songs about dark and twisted human emotions and issues, Bands like Babymetal and Electric Callboy are such a breath of fresh air.

There is no need to be afraid that old metal becomes stale. Early metal was very experimental. The bands tried to figure out a lot of instruments, voices, and tools and most of them found a very distinct sound, which changed over the years. There is also a lot of meaning in those songs, because they were the counter-culture of the day. Electric Callboy does a really good mix of metal and EDM. They are not alone in this and experiment a lot. Their break through was "Hypa Hypa" right at the beginning of the pandemic, so they were unable to tour. Instead, they offered the song to other bands to cover. So now, there are a bunch of very different covers of the song, made by various German artists, all in their preferred styles.

EC talked about how they had only one take to get right when crashing through the walls cause the company that helped produce it I guess didnt have the money or want to replace the wall again. So what you see in the video is one take.

Metal is exceptionally good with mixing up genres. Want some opera in there ? Symphonic metal is a whole genre. Want some bagpipes and a hurdy gurdy ? Folk metal it is. Pirate metal ? Sure. Viking metal ? Yup. Rap metal ? That's the 2000's nu metal era for you.

You'll enjoy Electric Callboy's other songs. I would recommend "Techno Train" as it's more EDM/techno mixed with metal. Metal most of the time takes itself too seriously, but EC is all about fun.

The covid quarantine didn't help either, now a lot of people are brainwashed and indoctrinated into a false narrative. And nobody should have to walk on eggshells around each other either. There are only 2 genders, obesity should be shamed, and we shouldn't celebrate mental illness. I'm not talking politically, just stating facts because as a people we've grown weaker believing in the lies and delusions that started with the covid quarantine. Not to mention bad parenting, if what I say is offensive. Good, the truth has always been known to sometimes hurt and people should get offended more often again to develop a stronger mental fortitude and gain more confidence in themselves. There's no point trying to argue with me about what I know to be facts, many people have tried and all have failed, and some have come around to see things as I and many others see things. Because I'm able to debunk the gender identity nonsense and I'm more stubborn than a mountain of solid rock. And on the debate of the "3rd gender", the medical condition where people are born with both parts is exceedingly rare that it's a lot less than 1% of the human population and it happens so inconsistently that doctors and scientists are unable to pinpoint the cause. So scientists have agreed to call it a deformity and not a gender, not to mention most people with the condition at least want nothing to do with the delusional gender identity people and go on working hard to have the surgery to either be 100% male or female whichever is their predominant gender. And because of all that and the Holy Bible, even though I'm not religious anymore, I can't be convinced to believe in the delusions of there being more than 2 genders cause there isn't. And I will only acknowledge people as male or female out of respect, anymore respect is earned and not given. All my friends and family know the truth as I do, including my non straight friends. Besides my non straight friends, a lot of people are leaving the LGBTQ community because of the toxic hypocrisy it's become. Been seeing video evidence that the community is even attacking itself likely because now they're lacking the confidence they once had if any. Personally I support non straight people who aren't in the community cause mentally and spiritually they're stronger than the people who think they need the community. And much like myself and the people we know, we're also tired of all the stupid rainbows. We know what it's supposed to stand for, but tbh painting them everywhere is making everything look like a kindergarten school and preschool with all the bright colors mashed together. Anyway people are too wrapped up in politics that a lot of people have forgotten or never learned how to have fun and express themselves. Another reason I refuse to support the gender identity nonsense is because they're also known to attack their own for detransitioning for mental or medical reasons and kick out those people and threaten them not to tell anyone else. They're not as unified as they think they are, they're essentially a cult with how they act
