Hey Everyone. Optimization is the most important as most people have already said. I don't have such big problems because I play on PS5 and I don't have to worry about hardware specifications which is starting to be the biggest pain point for new games released on PC. As Theo said, it's hard to optimize a game for the thousands of different hardware combinations of PC gamers.For me, as a person who plays only a few hours a week but likes all kinds of shooters, an equally big problem is the lack of SBMM, which so many people (SWEATS) dislike.The creators should first take care of the majority that always makes up 2/3 of the game community, i.e. CASUALS. I know there will be hate soon, but that's the truth.This is us, the people who play a occasionally we are the largest group of recipients that creators have to take care of when they enter with a new title because without it there is no financial success, especially in F2P games. An example is XDefiant which is dying a slow death. OTG brings so much freshness to the shooter market that I would really like it to succeed but unfortunately paid KZbinrs promoting the game and not spending even a dollar on it they won't keep the game going for too long . There are many people who share my opinion, but they are people who usually do not participate in social media. Thank you for your attention. Peace

If this game cannot be runed on RTX2060 config at minimum 60-100fps so they better never release the game.

Can you change your settings after you do this ? Or do you have to change it back to read only and check it

I have an i5 10th gen with a 3060ti runs at 60 fps. Thinking of upgrading the cpu. I’m playing this till Marvel Rivals so I’ll wait when Off the Grid launches.

i have 1660ti with ryzen 5 3600 it gives me 20 fps , but when i play warzone i have like 70 to 80 fps , i dont understand this

This game is an un optimized pile of shit. It has the potential to be a great game but what this guy is saying is a bunch of BS. I have a 12th gen i9 12900K 32GB DD5 memory paired with a 3090 and this game performs horribly. Delta force also just released a demo and have been in beta for a long time now and it also uses Unreal Engine 5 and it is 1000% percent more optimized than this. THAT game runs amazing well. This guy is just blowing smoke. Infact he makes me not even want to finish my video on it.

Trying this now. Sad we have to go to this extreme to play this game 🤦‍♂️

This guy is a corpo bullshiter... I have 4090 rtx and run this game between 20 to 70 fps... often 50 fps.

I am having even bigger issues where my charactes does not switch directions when i try to, it takes a good three seconds of holding the direction key for it to register. None of my buttons register when i press them right away or even at all. My character will just keep going in the same direction even though im pressing another direction. I cant pick anything up from the ground most of the time without holding my interact key for 5 seconds over the item until it finally picks it up. This game is dog shit

makes sense, coz they're using unreal engine 5. if you want a acceptable to great experience you gotta put in money and put up atleast the minimum requirements, orrrr just buy ps5 and be happy😂

The performance on ps5 is ok but thr frames still drop a lot. I hope they don't think nothing needs to be done on console. I hope they get this right because I actually love the gameplay

This game is not only not optimized, but as crazy minimum requirements, a 3060 as minimum gpu? This is just dumb. I can run it fine but only at the lowest settings.

if they have done tons of Optimization on this game, I would have hated to see it prior to this release.... It's utter dogshit in it's current state. No shock it's not on Steam as it would have been review bombed to the ground. Has anyone told this guy that people should not be reaching to play a fast twitch shooter at 60fps? Unreal 5 engine games are supposed to look visually stunning. This doesn't come close. Grayzone Warfare looks like an Unreal 5 engine game should. This game looks like a 4 year old game it's not funny. Dude is going to get a huge reality check when his game that has 300+ employees working on is forgotten about in 3 months time as no one can run it well enough for a quick twitch competetive shooter. Twitch/youtube streamers with 3 day old rigs are not the majority of people. Give it a week and they'll be playing something esle and this game will die a slow death in its current form as 98% of people can 't play it with a stable high FPS.

It's fair to say that an insane amount of optimization has been done BUT it's completely useless information if the performance is still ass for pretty much everyone. Even those on beefy machines have had to heavily tweak settings just to get a decent, consistent FPS. He says creating the best looking BR on UE5 is an extremely resource intensive thing. I can't say if it's the best looking BR because there's no way in hell I could play on settings higher than low which actually looks worse than a mobile game (In my opinion). So the objective to make the best looking BR is kind of pointless if you're only getting an average of 60 fps. I jumped on Delta Force and The Finals after a session of Off The Grid this and it's insane how smooth and optimized those games are. The reason I mention them is because Delta Force has high player counts in a close area with vehicles, projectiles etc going off (in the BF mode) and The Finals well it's obviously not apples to apples but the insane level of destruction is computation heavy, albeit with only 12 people in a smaller map.

They closed singapore server 🤣 i was playing in 100 ping and it was okay but not im forced to play 150. This game is ganna die if they dont get realistic with their optimization. I doubt half of the people who own a pc got above 3000 series gpu. Sht I'm not even mentioning aimbots yet already had 2 of those in my first 5 games.(one was my team mate literally magdumping walls cause his game sense was sht) I run a 3080 ti and feel really lucky to play it at 100 fps which drops to 40 soon as effects pop on screen 😂 goodluck keeping me around for the next 2 weeks if this continues. Even my old pc(which my brother owns now) that has 1660 ti where I fully edited config settings via txt runs it at below 60 and dropping to 10-20 when there's skunk gas. He got turned off immediately

For sure if you want graphic fidelity you need pc power, but in the other hand, if you making a multiplayer competitive battle royal, you need to allow ppl to lower settings, to not get sparks explosions smokes shadows etc everywhere and a much better frame rate than "solid 60 fps" that is 5 years in the past... on pc competitive, you need at least 144 stable... for sure when you running a pc like with 40 nvidia GPU inside... So i understand they want a beautifil VITRINE game on unreal 5 engine ( i i think neill blomkamp art is awsome ) but, for gaming experience PVP based : FRAME RATE is the main objective to reach for the producer of the game and the player. I have a question. I did these settings you recommended for the higher fps. It works but now I want to change it back because the game looks like a garbage can. My question is , it will not let me edit it back in notepad++. I can't delete and change anything. Any idea how to fix this? Thank u
