@formulized944 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching and commenting! The calipers and rotors I used were stock take off parts from the rear of a sixth generation Camaro, 2015 and newer. If you have to buy rotors, buy stock replacement rotors for the Camaro. Be sure to have the center hole opened up to slide of your axle hub.

This LMC kit is a waste of time and money. My driver side window was lightning fast, passenger side was very slow especially when operating it with driver side switch. Installed this relay kit today. Driver side now operates at half the speed it did. Passenger side works so poorly now that window will not even go up. Way worse than it was. Total junk. I've got new motor, new regulator and now another $60 in this kit and window on passenger side is still terrible and worse with relay kit than without.

I have installed many of these and never had that outcome. Have you went back over your installation or possibly even the OEM wiring in the truck to make sure there is nothing else that can inhibit operation. Possibly the switches or check your factory grounds. I feel like something is afoot. Work your way backwards and go over it.

The link you have for the brackets takes you the the eBay sellers store. It does not direct you to the brackets specifically for a 80s caprice. The only ones shown in their store are for 70s caprice and those seem to have an offset compared to the ones you used. That’s why I was asking if it was a custom order on the brackets.

if I may offer some advice, this is a big waste of time. 9/10 the reason the window motors aren't getting the proper amperage is due to dirty/corroded contacts in the switches and/or not having good ground. The factory ground combined with the inferior side post batteries leads to more corrosion. I've found that cleaning the switch, adding better grounding, and converting to top mount leads to better window performance and overall electrical performance.
