Hey I just stumbled upon your channel, I really love the format and review style, very detailed. I kindly ask if the simgot ew200 is a noticeable or reasonable upgrade over the moondrop chu 2? I am trying to pick between (kz castor harman, qkz x hbb, simgot ew200, truthear zero blue). Your advice will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for putting this up! I made the right choice getting the Tanchjim cause I've pretty small ears, and the Waner likely would be uncomfortable in my ears despite the relaxing tuning. Had debated about the Chu 2 but heard about filter issues in humid countries like mine. May consider the Simgot next time, and perhaps try the Salnotes, since I thought they're big. Didn't expect the Waner to be bigger! Again, thanks for this!

How do you compare these to the zero reds?

Things to keep in mind about the EPZ Q1 Pro. This isn’t a bass head set. the low end is decent but never feels lacking. I'm a bass head too, I had to give a little low end boost to make it more enjoyable for me(about EQ, I don’t like to make things too complicated, i do like to fine tune things, but I try my best to achieve what i like with minor adjustments. That’s how I like and that makes things easy. I do give a low end boost about 2-3dB under 400Hz and 2-4dB high cut above 3k gradually, the amount depends on the tuning) I don’t always look for the low end, it isn’t a priority as different sets deliver different experiences. When we take the 7Hz Zero(OG) as an example, it is a unique set and delivers more of a relaxed listening experience at the lower end of the FR. Sometimes i grab them and enjoy a different vibe. Still i do love punchier and harder hitting low end, but different sets hits different. So, the reason why this Q1 pro appeals me the most is because, these got a perfect balance in everything. Excellent technicalities and textured, more tasteful balanced sound. I haven’t found this balance at this price range and even at upper range. Delci is somewhat close to this experience, and i recommend the Delci with ease, but this thing is more tasteful and doesn’t sound thin, Delci can sound a bit thin though it is warmer tuned set. I adore the overall texture of the Q1 Pro. For my sensitive ears, these do create some fatigue issues, but not like EW200, 7Hz Zero(OG) or something like Chu 2. EQ is a requirement for me(minor adjustments) and also the sound you get will highly depend on your source, gear and streaming platform. Keep in mind that i'm too sensitive and that can be a good measurement for you to understand things better.

I've had the Q1 Pro for a while but haven't tried to mod them yet. My biggest issue with them was the lack of weight in the lower mids but I'll try some of the things you did to see if I can correct that. Did you use the Sancai Balanced tips? Another set that has caught my attention is the Kinera Celest Wyvern Abyss. It has a beautiful shell as well 😍 and also looks to have a decent amount of bass judging from graphs and what I've heard so far. Thank you for another great review! 👍

hey Bro... what app do you use for EQ? and it would be great if you could share your EQ in the video. i agree that this Q1 Pro is an upgrade from Zero OG with less piercing. i'm currently using Q1 Pro and had the Zero OG before. but don't you think the Z300 is the budget version of Delci? they have a similar graphs and warmness and bass thickness i think. i'm considering to buy the Delci for my Q1 Pro companion. but i won't buy it if it has the same tonality
