i would probably consider to find an equivalent aluminum case for the controller and use that potted compound another commenter mentioned. that way you don’t have to worry about drilling holes to keep it cool and water ingress if you drive over a puddle, if there’s a fire hydrant flood, or rain. holes have the problem of dirt, debris and moisture getting in.

What makes the front brakes make that little bubbling noise?my bike does the same

Usually means you have air in your brakes and that you need to bleed them

You never said how wired took care of you by sending a new controller, you gave the impression that's it's a problem with everyone, wired backs up there bikes and you gave the ecells idiots a chance to bash the bike. You never said if you did any modifications to the original controller or not also, nobody on Facebook groups is complaining about a overheat issue unless they did modifications. Give wired there due for backing up there product.
@EnzoFullyCharged4 күн бұрын
First of all I love wired, secondly I did actually see people in the Facebook group with this problem. I have not done any modifications to my bike or controller also in the comments in my last video I mentioned how wired sent me a replacement controller fast.
@DaveGonzales-qz4ks5 күн бұрын
Don't see others having this issue, was there any modifications done on your bike. I have no issues in long rides in full power.

I potted the controller myself on my 2024 Wired. I used Max EPC potting compound. Cost me $32 on eBay. I haven't had any problems with overheating since using this. Check it out, it's worth the price!
@EnzoFullyCharged6 күн бұрын
Thank you I will absolutely do that ⚡️

So your controller was fried on arrival? The new Wired is potted so I'm confused why you'd need to drill holes
@EnzoFullyCharged6 күн бұрын
Nah it wasn’t fried upon arrival. I turned the power settings to the max then starting doing a bunch of mountain climbing then after a couple of days it fried

He said that his controller has a plastic case. He has the 2024 model, not the (newest) 2024 plus model with a potted controller.

What good is a bike if it shuts down because it overheats. The owners of Wired e-bikes do not know what they are doing. They say so on their web site. Why would anybody buy a bike from these guys. And weak warrantees. Buyer Beware!!!

They bought it because of hype and didn’t do their research 😂 wired makes overpriced piles of shit.

about the overheating, is that the version before the potted controller and rear battery option? 20a or 40a controller?
@EnzoFullyCharged18 күн бұрын
The controller says max current is 40a
@EnzoFullyCharged18 күн бұрын
Also no it only had the battery in the bottom tube not in the rear
@coreyalexander476615 күн бұрын
It is the version with the potted controller. The issue is they cheap out and make their controllers out of plastic. Plastic holds heat. Their controller box is also too small which doesn’t allow heat to escape. Awful design.
