CRAZY TOP SPEED RUN ON 52V 2000W E-BIKE

I took out my Ariel Rider X Class on a top speed run, my bike is running off of two 52v 20ah batteries and I am a 235lb rider.

I prefer rear hub motors but this is what mid drive motors are for. That being said, anything over 30mph seems like a death wish to me.

use a 60v battery and controller like 45 to 60 amp

if its like mine the Fucare Gemini X then you just hold the + - buttons and go into settings the P6 menu and change the 49 km to 51 km which on mine it only sets to 32 mph max but your bike should be the same

To get to 40 you are going to need 1000 more watts at minimum & bigger ass batteries to be able to supply the energy needed

You can do 45 on 2000w, just a big battery

tyre pressure has an effect on speed. i ride 26 inch fat tyre and know by the lack of speed and range when i need to put more air in the tyres.

Honestly 40mph on that bike frame is kinda scary since it's not designed for those types of speeds/power. Cheap hallow aluminum frame.

downhill mtb also can go 75 kmph they can take it, not a wallmart bike.

I can go that fast on my 750w, 48v, 20ah bike. It's got a seat post and I can adjust it for maximum pedaling efficiency. I also have a 26x3" slick tires, 52t chainring, and a cassette with an 11 tooth small cog. Even at 30mph I can do meaningful pedaling and make it go faster.

@enzofilmz only thing I want to add is an extra battery but I want to drop 20lbs first. I never thought about adding more power as these things aren't motorcycles and are designed for high speeds necessarily.

im on a 1000w 48v and top out at 36. i was assuming this build would easily get you above 40

The bike most definitely could go faster but the company send the bikes out with a controller thats limits the bike with a new controller could definitely go 40

Not to be a hater or anything... but that's it? I can hit 31-32 on my 48v 1000W generic Alibaba ebike. (Bike sometimes indicates 37 but gps-wise it's around 31-32) Would've expected more from a prestigious brand's expensive bike. It's about a thousand more than what I paid for mine. Less than half the battery capacity too. Suspension has to be nice though right?

The suspension is alright but it also has a lot to do with weight I’m 238 my friend who weighs 180 rides my bike and easily gets 37 on my all day

If he wants more speed he has to get a 72 v battery then he can do it on the motor he has maybe a 60 v

Yeah I have been doing research saw some guy on a Facebook group who makes custom controllers that should be able to get the bike to 40 with a 60v battery thinking I might do that

My 1000w 52v goes upto 35.8mph but it might actually be 33.8 as the LCD display shows the 35.8 and a GPS speed app shows the 33.8

Most of the reviews I have seen on that bike hit around 35 mph or less and can’t maintain it. I do like that bike tho looks amazing

Get a Honda ruckus instead! 1 gallon of gas gets you 114 miles and tops out at 40mph. Thank me later…. Oh did I mention it’s thousands cheaper too

I had a Honda ruckus I loved it but it got stolen, my apt only has street parking that’s why I went the ebike route so I could store it in my apt. I really do miss my ruckus tho it was awesome

I love scooters but you need a license, license plate, and you can't ride them in the bike lane. You have to ride them out in the traffic lanes where you have to dice it up with cars. A Honda Navi is $1807 brand new.

@@Time2shine2k4 I recently bought a Husqvarna Vitpilen 401. List price $5399, dealer markup $699, total $6098. Out the door it was $7565. That's $1467 for sales tax, freight, license, DMV, etc. The Navi will have much less sales tax and other fees because it's so much cheaper.. If a dealer quoted you $3500 it included a hefty dealer markup. Prices went crazy during the "pandemic". When things return to normal there will be no markups.

My problem is I needed a vehicle that I could keep in my apt to keep it safe I have a motorcycle but it kept getting stolen plus my apt doesn’t come with garage parking so I went with an ebike which is light enough for my to carry upstairs.
