Oh no not at all, you seem lovely, it’s not that…. Would require some introspection on my part, but I guess it’s because that as an economist I am dumbfounded as to how anyone would find listening to financial advice to be soothing. Like, what is the kick that they are getting? It feels to me like the least relaxing thing to do lol…A bit like trying to understand BDSM for me… But I am just happy that you all seem to be enjoying yourselves 😅🤗

@@pannonianbrute Hahaha well, for you it's work, but most others aren't spending 8 hours a day 5 days a week thinking about finance and being, I imagine often, stressed out by it. I imagine a mixture of novelty, the intimacy of an in-person appointment of any kind (in terms of getting one-on-one attention), and the whole 'sleep and learn' asmr preference (as is mine) where some people (me) find it easier to relax/get to sleep if their mind is engaged, rather than having their thoughts return inwards, which can for some people (me again) be anxiety inducing and definitely not sleep/relaxation inducing 😊On the other hand if I'm hearing new information my attention tends to shift outwards and I'm generally less tense
