It didn't work for me. My older original battery still works but has only a 15 minute life span and then charges up in only a few minutes and works again for 15 minutes. Newer battery sucks.

It will work but It will never hold a full charge again 😂 battery is junk at this stage. Just buy a new one and move on.

It worked! I did this trick, used it for a bit, now it’s actually charging. I can’t believe it. Thank you!

Tried this today and had it work for the first battery set. The second battery set burned up the wire and about started a fire in my garage. It killed one of the batteries entirely, but one of them is still okay. Kind of terrifying! Probably not doing this again.

That type of wire twist needs solder or it's very weak. The twist caps were better.

Iv been searching for days for someone with a good video apparently I’m going to have to read up and make a video because either it’s someone wiring a trailer or using existing wires to make a new one I want to know how to wire in one that never existed before because mine is messed up and I don’t feel like tracking it down I’d rather just make a new one.

How can you call this guy a jack off for using twist wire connectors when you did no better all you did was twist the wires together and used heat shrink that’s just as bad as twisting the wires together and using wire tape, soldered or used connectors and then use the heat shrink over the top of the buck connector or the soldered wire.

Had a battery that didn’t work for 3 years! It’s fine now lol now I got my backup back! This really works, an I legit used just random metal lol like from a badge the clip thing I broke it down then flattened it an put it battery to battery for 30 mins my other battery lost one bar an then it finally would charge again/fully charge! People say be careful use a fuse or whatever but I had no issues both my battery’s are good now! Hell ya!

Didn’t work for me. My dead battery technically charged but when I put it back in the charger to charge fully to 100%, it still thinks it’s fully charged even though it isn’t…

Unfortunately hasn't worked for me. That's not to say this method doesn't work. There can be other factors also present in my battery that prevent this method from working. Have read comments on this section about the jumper cable burning that is a result of either an additional fault in someone's battery, or jumper cables are too thin and the current (amperage) is strangled when passing along the jumper cables or as you have mentioned many times about polarity mix ups. It's no different to jump starting a car. If the cables get too hot or burn then they are undersized. Perhaps I will try this method again as on the first occasion I used a healthy 3ah to jump a faulty 5ah whereas I should have used like for like i.e 5ah to jump a 5ah. If it works I'll definitely drop a comment about it. If I don't reply back its because I'm still trying. Thanks anyhow, the video was clear and concise. Hate long winded videos before they get to the point, by which time I've usually skipped to the next video.

I was about to open it up and charge each bank in there. But i saw this video and followed your way. And i charged it with my yihua charging and soldering station for about 20 minutes then inserted the battery back to the milwaukee charger for 5 second and pulled it out and pressed the button and all power came back. Thanks for the info.

"I followed all the steps indicated in the video and shortly after connecting the cables, sparks began to appear and the battery almost exploded, spilling red liquid. Now the new battery that I had connected does not work and is damaged." I don't understand all those positive comments if the battery almost exploded and would have caused a serious problem and also to complete the new battery it was damaged.
